Cam…I began with a strong love/hate relationship with her. She’s married to a doctor that specializes in infertility. From the outside looking in, Cam has it all. Marriage, money, friends…she’s living the life right? Well not exactly. She is having issues with infertility herself. She lost the only baby she got pregnant with. Then she finds her husband in bed with another woman. Instead of leaving her husband (which is the part that irritated me with her), she decided to live with the lies. Cam gets a job with Sharp Security to help give her life meaning outside of the broken marriage. This is where I start to love her!
Sharp Security CEO, Mr. Sharp. Love him! He is raising a son on his own with the help of his mother. He’s a family man but is not looking for a woman to fill the role of mother. Sharp is strict with the women he beds and lets them know up front that it’s a one-time thing and there will be no repeats. His focus is on his company and his son. And then comes Cam….LOL
Now single, Cam thinks often about her first love Ayden that she lost years ago. Feeling lonely, Cam and Sharp build a relationship. Yet they’ve never met. All their interactions are done through email, text, or phone calls. Those interactions, HOT!! It seems they can’t get enough of the ongoing flirtation. Then comes the end of this volume and HOLY BLEEEEEP!!!
The book was well written and it holds your attention. I loved the characters. This is something different from the other books written by the author and I was pleasantly surprised! Go S. Moose! I can’t wait to read the rest of the volumes! The CH ensures that this 1-click addict will be waiting SOMEWHAT patiently for the next one to go live! Go 1-click today!
Sharp is an interesting character to say the least. He's very hands on but he's doing it from across the pond. He has a big secret and you're left wondering what he has to hide.
Cam & Sharp talk via text messages and phone but she's never seen him in person. They have an extremely flirty relationship that would typically be taboo in the office. Cam turns to Sharp when her marriage is going down hill and after it's over. He helps her feel better about herself and her situation. There are lots of liberties Cam seems to take when it comes to Sharp.
You almost have to wonder if she subconsciously recognizes Sharp. I am looking forward to learning more about these to characters and "hearing" what Sharp's deal really is.
I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
Stone and Cam aren't the typical couple. She's never seen him but he can see her. No matter. Between sexting and phone calls they set the pages on fire and develop an amazing relationship that can last. If only... oh, if only.
Then there's that ending... I heard myself screaming at my Kindle and my husband could only shake his head when I said out loud "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! What the actual F'CK?!"
Ms. Moose, hurry up with volume 2. That's an order. And don't argue with me.
Cam's life looks picture perfect from the outside. Successful, handsome husband on her arm. She can buy whatever she wants as she donates to various charities. A woman to envy - right? But is her life all it is cracked up to be? Before she knows it, everything she thought she had is stripped away from her.
Burying herself in her new job she works ridiculous hours to try and forget what is going on in her life. Here she starts a mysterious and sexy as hell 'relationship' with her new boss Sharp.
I loved the dual POV, Cam & Sharp's, as we begin to see what makes these two tick. What their strengths and vulnerabilities are. It adds a wonderful layer to the story. Watching the transformation as Cam begins to find herself again is empowering. It is easy to lose yourself in life - not just when you are in a relationship, but when you become stagnant and have to remember who you once were and you can once again become. To witness Cam embark upon this journey was a delight. We also see Sharp start to question his own rules: 1 No repeats & 2 No relationships. I cannot wait to see what happens next!
And OMG that ending! I will not say anything else but O.M.G!!! What. A. Way. To. End. A. Book.
I recommend Interrupted! I am eagerly awaiting the next installment in this series! S. Moose is quickly becoming a one-click author for me!
I received a complimentary copy, in exchange for an honest review.

Didn't like the "Hero" in this book. He was horrible to the heroine over a misunderstanding and then he didn't even make it up to her or try and make amends. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Barnes15TX

I feel it was a little rushed and all over the place. Interesting and weird at times. It was just okay to me.Published 9 months ago by Alesha Whibbey
"Interrupted Vol 1" is a pretty good short story. At times the author is all over the place, but that is because she is setting a lot of the back story of Ayden and Cam. Read morePublished 10 months ago by Melissa
