When golden boy Neil Oliver (James Marsden) is granted one wish by a mystical character (Gary Oldman), he sets off on the road trip of a lifetime. On a highway that doesn't exist, Neil steps into an adventure where anything is possible: a woman who never says no, a town with free drugs, a mysterious killer, and the girl of his dreams, enticing him from billboards along the route. Take a ride on Interstate 60. No rules, no boundaries.

The only thing that I didn't like about the movie was the fact that Neil conveniently forgot that he had a girlfriend in all of this. Other than that, the acting was spectacular; the all-star cast gave it a nostalgia that only having 80's stars in a movie can do.
I appreciated Neal sticking up for himself. It's very easy to just do the easy thing; even though one could argue that he comes from money so this "sacrifice" would always have a safety net, but it takes courage to tell parents who don't want to listen that the choice of one's life is their own.
Highly recommend this for anyone dealing with a quarter-life crisis at the moment.
Of course, I again cannot speak for everyone, but I think that something can be gained/realized by all age groups since I think that the underlying message can be associated with those coming of age or those that are at a fork in the road of their life as it offers the viewer the reminder that there are many possibilities in life and how our choices affect us.
I would certainly recommend this to anyone that would be willing to try something new and keep an open mind throughout the whole film. If you do this, I don't think you would be disappointed. I know that I, for one, would like to escape to Interstate 60.
I particularly appreciated the Museum of Fake Art (called something else I believe in the movie). I have seriously been around the kind of art snobs who were confidently dissing the strokes of the artist having been told they are fake when they are in fact, authentic. Oh my!
First class script, cast, direction and production. If you like Indi, fun, inspiring, don't miss it.
