so far so good. The children have been using these tubes (I bought two of them) for the entire summer in our pool, and they seem to hold. The size is right. fun colors. solid material. and great price!

This tube was easy to blow up, fun to use and durable. We got a lot of good use out of it. It did lose air after a while, but it wasn't a big deal.

Strange story here. My 2 yo kid had an identical Intex tube in green. He named it his Donut. He took it everywhere, even to bed. This went on for months. As you would expect, after being dragged around, sat on, played in, and otherwise assaulted on dry land for such an extended amount of time, Donut developed a hole. I had to scramble for a new Donut. I ordered this (blue) and then found another green Donut locally. Lucky me. He insisted on carrying around both. As odd as it seems, this tube/Donut has attained a strange and lofty place in my household.

I bought these to use at the Universal Studios Cabana Bay Beach resort. They have a lazy river that is BYOF (bring your own floatie) and I assumed theirs would be overpriced like everything else at a resort. I bought 3 of these tubes and they all held up well over our 1 week stay, although one seemed to have a very slow leak (I had to have it top off with air every day while the others stayed inflated the whole week). These will fit any small to average sized adult around the waist, but if you are on the bigger side you might have to lay/sit on top of it.

Note for those going to Universal: The floaties they sold there were only a couple of dollars more expensive and some of them had handles. If this is important to you, you can just choose and buy them there.

I usually order a couple of these same tubes each summer season and they might last one or two seasons. This year, I ordered this tube and it came with a hole so I had to start off by patching it up. We are currently on our 2nd patch for this tube...and it is not even half way through the summer. On the other hand, they are cheap to buy so I don't expect them to last forever however, I would like to order one that didn't need a patch right from the get go.

Maybe I'm old school, but I like to blow up inner tubes with my mouth and lungs, like the strong man at the carnival. Well, this lousy tube has some form of leak-proof inner tab in the valve so that when you stop blowing, the air doesn't come out (as opposed to the old days when there was no tab, and one would just put their tongue tip over the blow hole when they are catching their breath). Well, the tab gets in the way of blowing this up!! I cannot blow past the tab--perhaps 25% of the blow effort gets into the float. I blew, and hard, for ten minutes, and the thing was only 1/3 inflated. So, I took a pen tip and ran it in and out of the hole trying to break off the inner tab, and that opened it a bit, but after about 2 minutes, it closed again.

I suppose if some wimp is going to use a pump to blow this thing up, then it might be okay. But for us old school blowhards, this balloon float sucks.

PS I know they put the tab in there so that, if some silly kid pulls out the external stopped while he's floating on it in the middle of the pond, he doesn't go on and have this thing deflate in, like, 20 seconds and he goes under and drowns. But, seriously, if some kid is foolish enough to do that, do we really want him getting back to shore? (joke, people).

I had been looking for a tube that I could float with in the water at three hundred pounds and fairly inexpensive. So I needed one that was big, and could handle me. I can't sit in it to relax, and it's a tight squeeze when I put it over my head. When I am wet with water, I am able to get in and out of it with ease. For me, I wasn't asking for something easy because of my size. It's a good tube, and I am able to have fun. I would recommend it for anyone.

Real pain to blow up, literally. Your lungs will be burning. Eventuslly I took a pen cap and poked through the plastic piece that is supposed to "help" keep air from escaping but it does more harm than good. Bought 2 of them, orange one was great, blue one had a wonky air valve that held air but always seemed to want to pop up. I thought I was saving money by bringing it to the beach, but turns out they were available there for less. Oh well.
