Okay canoe paddle, shouldn't even be under "kayak paddles"
on August 3, 2017
If you're planning to use this as two canoe paddles, it would work OKAY for that purpose. If you're planning to use this as a kayak paddle, I recommend you take your business elsewhere. Here's why: when set up for kayaking, the two paddles are held together by a plastic coupler that screws/clamps to the ends. The problem is that the plastic that the coupler is made of bears resemblance to what other companies use to make plastic silverware, not kidding. When my buddy and I went out for a day on the river, he didn't take 3 strokes before it snapped in half like I knew it would. If you'd like a friendly suggestion of what paddle to buy for kayaking, I would suggest the Seasense Extreme II, which I was using on the day the intex broke in my friend's hands.
