REally? The seam split. I followed directions. The seam split more. I cannot fix it and the boat is now useless and they say sorry it is past 90 days. They could not even offer suggestions on how to repair it. In fact, the rep said I could not fix the seam. So now I am out my $85, I have no kayak and this huge supplier says too bad!!!
Well too bad Intex, I guess you lost not only my business but you also lost all of the recommendations to my social community.
Unless of course you wish to rectify this...in which case write me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Anyway, then I couldn't get out of the tub because my legs were tangled in the shower curtain and the kayak was on top of me. My dog thought it was funny and jumped on top and started licking my face. I blindly grabbed for something, and accidentally turned on the shower.
Anyway, after I got the bathroom aired out, I managed to pull the kayak out into the back yard and pretended my lawn was a level 4 white waters thing. It helped that the sprinklers activated in the middle of it all. The dog jumped on top of me again.
Finally, i strapped the thing to the top of my car and drove up to the nearest mountain stream. I had forgotten that the kayak was both inflatable *and* deflatable. The wind kept trying to pull the kayak up off the car, but I'd tied it tight enough, it just resulted in less traction on my steering. Which is a bad thing on mountain roads. The car went off the side and rolled over and over, landing on its top in, ironically, a mountain stream.
So, with the car upside down on top of the kayak, me in the car, and the whole mess in the stream, we floated all the way back down through Golden, past the Coors factory, and out the east side of Denver.
My car was totaled. But the kayak was awesome. I recommend it. Just, make sure you have a mountain stream handy, and deflate it before you tie it to the top of your car.

Pros: The included pump is terrific and filled the chambers very quickly.
The material feels impressively heavy-duty; I felt quite confident in its ability to handle accidental contact with rocks or branches.
The paddles are an excellent design and handled beautifully.
The primary valves worked exactly as advertised.
The skeg attaches firmly yet also detaches easily.
The multiple chambers kept me above the water despite loosing air in 2 sections.
The carry bag is large enough to fit the boat in even without careful refolding, and allows air flow to prevent mouldering.
Cons: Only the main floatation chambers have the fancy valves.
It is quite shallow and even with the seats, you are still sitting on the floor. This can also make getting out a bit awkward.
Even with the skeg I found it would drift a bit too easily. I hate to imagine what it would be like without that attached.
The biggest issue for me was that mine came with slow air leaks in the floor and one of the side chambers.
I would love to say this is an excellent product in every way that matters. If there had just been a single leak I would dismiss it as a random glitch; these things happen. Unfortunately the fact that it came with 2 leaks makes me worry a lot more about the overall quality of construction. There are a lot of good reviews on here, but too often companies work hard to establish that reputation, then boost their profits by dropping their quality. So I am returning it and dropping my rating to 3 stars for now. If the replacement has no issues and does not develop any I will adjust my rating accordingly,
