I have been using Intex Seahawk 2's for years for fishing. They do get holes, they do leak a little. They do wear out, but for the price and convenience (rolls up to the size of a sleeping bag and fits in the trunk with ease) they are great little boats. I can row about as fast as the average kayak and I can row far in these boats. Typically I will row about 5 miles while fishing. They do not tip over, unlike a canoe or some kayaks. Helpful hints: 1. Buy a better pair of oars. I got a pair of oars from Intex like 7 years ago for $16 2. The pump it comes with is pretty good but get a Coleman rechargeable pump or something like that. 3. Make a seat ... you will slump down a bit with no seat. I put down a cushion life preserver and put a seat on top of that. Very comfortable and you will sit up higher. 4. I made a storage platform for the back. Very helpful for small cooler of beer and other stuff. 5. Keep a repair kit in the boat all times. With Tear Aid B and Air Stop you can fix any hole in about 5 minutes. 6. Always bring the Intex manual pump with you. You can put air in the boat while you are in the boat! I am 6 feet 2 inches and about 225 lbs. The boat will loose some air after awhile out on the water. I take a minute every two hours or so and add a little more air to top it off. You can do this will all three air chambers. Sometimes I go out for 6 or 7 hours and when I get back to the boat launch my boat is perfectly full of air just like when I first left.
Basically, I put my boat in my car in like April and leave it there until about November. I always have my boat! I don't need to drag it from the back yard or wherever and put it on the roof of my Honda Accord. I takes up so little space, even if you have a small car you can just leave it in there. Very convenient!
Just remember, leaks are very easy to fix with Tear Aid B and Air Stop (use them together). Tear Aid is a patch for PVC and dries instantly. Air Stop is glue but dries extremely fast. Just a minute or so. Cover the hole with Tear Aid and go around the edges of the Tear Aid with Air Stop. These boats leak a little air through the valves but like I said just bring the little Intex pump with you and put air in the boat whenever you feel it needs some.

A few flaws can be corrected in this boat, if you're up for a project.
I'll start with the positive, first.
pros:
1) Large (seats 4 people)(more like 2-3, lol)
2) Easy to maneuver. As you may know, rafts sit on top of the water rather than in it. This boat is easy to paddle with the oars provided.
3) thick vinyl. Seriously, this thing won't pop unless you hit a sharp rock, log, or bulkhead.
4) storage pouch
cons
1) soft floor (cant stand up)
2) uncomfortable seats (inflatable, no back support)
3) I get tired of paddling
Now dont stop reading my review here. I'm a go-getter, soo, I fixed all the cons and created my dream (budget) boat.
I added a wood floor with 3/4in plywood. I can stand and cast my rod and walk to the other end of the boat. This maximised the interior space too, because i can just set stuff on the floor w/o it rolling towards the point where im sitting.
I added pvc pipes under the floor for added stability and padded the edges.
I also added a trolling motor with 30lb thrust and let me tell you, it trolls faster than you'd believe.
I added 2 "seats" - coolers with stadium seats on them. This gave me storage inside the coolers and a seat to sit on. The backrests maximized my time out on the water because i was just so comfortable.
I will upload some photos and I hope I can inspire others!
Style: Seahawk 4
I bought this and thought it would just be another cheap kid's raft. Boy, was a wrong, this is a very much adult boat.

If you don't see the value in being on a lake and fishing for just over 100 bucks idk what to tell you. This thing has been an absolute freakin blast. I kinda speed fill mine with a battery powered shop vac until it's close to full then finish it off with the hand pump so it's at the correct pressure. I also suck all the air out of it the same way. For ease of rolling it back up. I also bought an extra large duffle bag and the boat, oars, hand pump, and trolling motor mount can all be slung over my shoulder on the way to the water. " GIANT " Duffle bag Big 5.

Safety first
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 1, 2018Style: Seahawk 4Verified Purchase
Having a deep seated fear of the ocean, since being traumatised by watching Jaws as a youngster, I thought as a way of confronting my terror, I would purchase the Seahawk 4 four man dinghy. On first inspection, the pvc is on a very tough thickness, though I suspect not thick enough to withstand the razor blade sharpness of the teeth of the great white shark. A aggressive cod or turbot, however would find little satisfaction. Luckily, there are very few if any people eating sharks around the coast of Britain, and those that may be in the vicinity are probably well aware of what a breach in manners it would be to consume the local swimmers or boaters. Anyhow, the boat itself is well constructed, with three separate inflated sections, so if a predator were to make a initial attack, the remaining two sections would hopefully keep you afloat until rescue. The useful oars are strong and well manufctured. One would be able to deliver some forceful blows to fend off further attacks. Aim for the eyees and gills. Most sharks will lose interest after that, plus I dare say the plastic pvc is none too tasty. Though I haven't tasted it yet. The claims of it being a four man boat, depends upon the size of the men. If they are big men, you might need a bigger boat.

Good tips and pro's and cons

My friend and our children had a great time. The boat is huge and could fit me, my friend...we are both 5ft 4, hree children, aged 14yrs and 12years both 5ft 4 and 10years old 5ft.
Remember When blowing up three valves, one on the floor, two on the side.
Deflating Unscrew the two valves turn over and screw on again, this then will deflate. The floor valve has to be pinched which is very slow and not user friendly like the other valves.
Oars. sorry go and buy a linger pair, and bear in mind to buy ones that dismantle.
Also buy a automatic pump. our arms ached and thought it's not the bygone years.
Also buy a trolley to transport. I read a man advised roll and throw over your shoulder. It is way to heavy and unrealistic if you have other things with you.
I bought a trolley you slide it in, mistake. Now I have ordered a trolley on wheels that is 'retangle and user friendly.
Could anyone give suggestions places to use it safely with children please?

Divertimento a basso costo
Reviewed in Italy on June 20, 2020Style: Seahawk 2Verified Purchase
Riassunto dimensioni (Seahawk 2):
- i remi sono 125 cm circa;
- la pala (di plastica gialla) è larga 15 e lunga 30 cm;
- le camere d’aria laterali sono 30 cm;
- lo spazio interno a disposizione, nel punto più stretto, è 42 cm;
- la camera d’aria nella parte anteriore (prua) è 50 cm;
- la camera d’aria nella parte posteriore (poppa) è 40 cm;
- la tasca interna è alta circa 15 cm per 30 di larghezza.
Cosa mi è piaciuto:
✅ è ben sagomato, si trasporta bene (ho preso la versione due posti);
✅ le valvole per il gonfiaggio/sgonfiaggio sono il vero plus del canotto in questione: in fase di gonfiaggio non fanno uscire l’aria nemmeno quando si rimuove la pompa, inoltre in fase di sgonfaggio le valvole si possono togliere del tutto (svitandole), per svuotarlo e piegarlo più velocemente;
✅ rimane stabile senza ribaltarsi (io lo uso in un fiume, vedi video) ha inoltre la cordina passante tutto intorno utile per il trasporto, e due porta canne, oltre che due porta remi;
✅ molto pratica la taschina interna (impermeabile) dove poter riporre il cellulare o il portafogli prima di fare il bagno.
Cosa non mi è piaciuto:
✖ la pompa presente nella confezione è piccolina, meglio usarne una più grande per gonfiarlo in pochi minuti, con quella in dotazione un quarto d’ora ci vuole tutto;
✖ l’assenza di una maniglia laterale;
✖ i remi sono piccoli e di plastica, adatti solo ad una situazione di acqua molto calma;

Great for a bit of fun. Excellent quality
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 25, 2017Style: Seahawk 2Verified Purchase
Ordered this just as the weather was turning hotter. I have used it twice to row/float along the local river and even went down a canoe pass!
It inflated very quickly and stayed up, was very sturdy once in it. Managed to fit myself (6ft2 85kg) and my friend (5ft10 72kg) in this. Ok it was tight and whoever wasn't rowing had to sit with folded legs, but it stayed afloat and we were not too close for comfort. Will take some beers with me next time!
It deflated quickly and wasn't too heavy to carry back to the car as it dried out well. I reckon this will last a long time and the quality is excellent for what I paid £42.
Just remember on a hot day not to over inflate as the air will expand in the heat, so make sure you leave some room when blowing it up
