From the Back Cover

Still unsolved, still baffling, still claiming new victims. Here are the untold stories.

A pilot reports a strange haze enveloping his plane, then disappears; eleven hours after fuel starvation, as if calling from a void, he is heard 600 miles away. He requests permission to land, then vanishes forever. A freighter steaming over placid seas disappears without a trace. A pleasure yacht ghosts past without a soul on board. A pilot calls for help because a "weird object" is harassing his plane. A jet collides with an "unknown" and is never found. . . .

Into the Bermuda Triangle is the first comprehensive examination of these baffling disappearances in more than a generation. Drawing on official reports from the NTSB and other investigative agencies as well as interviews with scientists, theorists, and survivors, leading authority Gian Quasar not only sets the record straight on previously examined cases, he also offers a bulging file of new cases, the collective results of his twelve-year investigation. In meticulous detail this unflinching account:

  • Documents confirmed disappearances of airplanes and ships
  • Gathers new testimony and reexamines old interviews from eyewitnesses and survivors
  • Explores possible explanations ranging from zero-point energy to magnetic vortices
  • Challenges our assumptions with the sheer weight of accumulated evidence

In this age of technological and scientific discovery, there are still mysteries that transcend understanding. The Bermuda Triangle is one.

This is a very interesting book and a bit eerie. It seems "Out-worldly" to lose technical equipment such as airplanes in a perfectly clear sky, especially when that's not what the pilots report seeing. Ships that disappear within hailing distance of the safe shores is also spooky. The book is really worth taking the time to read and get into. The photographs also are a great help.

Gian Quasar's book is the best new book on the Triangle mystery since the 1970's.The book is well documented and updated with more recent vanishings and weird happenings! It is a pleasant read, with a fresh perspective on the subject and some new theories.
Mr.Quasar has researched this subject for many years. He isn't just an armchair adventurer. He has visited the places of the vanishings. He has literally sailed and flown the same paths of those who have vanished. Like a detective,Mr.Quasar will continue to investigate until he solves the mystery. I have read this book cover to cover several times since i purchased it.Very enjoyable. Can't wait until the movie !!

This book presents a fascinating account of the riddles of the Bermuda Triangle and explores possible explanations. Bermuda Triange is well known not only for missing planes and vanished ships but also UFOs and sunken worlds.

Areas in the Bahamas were reported to hold the remains of a vast prehistoric civilization that sank beneath the sea. UFOs and USOs were also frequently reported in the Binini area and other areas of the Bermuda Triangle.

In particular, the stories of those who lived to tell are baffling. There are unexplained forces involving electronic drains, radio dead spots, power blackouts, compass malfunction, unusual fogs or flares. Countless theories have been proposed to explain the many disapperances within the Bermuda Triange. The most practical one for vanished ships seems to be environmental (e.g. unusual and extremely sudden winds or volatile weather) and human error. Persistence of unexplained electromagnetic field anomalies at places of most disappearances may suggest transient magnetic vortices there. Ships and planes traveling through or near these vortices might simply disappear by being held in time!

What a fantastic book! I was swept up early on! The author really knows how to keep a great mystery going! I was a little behind in the middle of the book when he got very technical about science related stuff. Somewhat over my head. And the Atlantis thing. A little "out there." But he has great research to support it, but it is highly speculative in our modern era, and quite complicated. Overall, I appreciated the fact that he covered every avenue of the Triangle, all the hoopla, all the speculation, all the history, all the possible scenarios. My husband is an airline pilot and has flown the area over and over with never a problem. Hmmmm. However, if you look at the history of missing ships and planes with never a trace to be found, it begs for more research. But today, few planes and few ships have any problems. Is this because our technology is newer and more sophisticated? But still how to explain planes on approach to Miami and St. Thomas when all of a sudden they are gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mystery indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great writer! Great book! Loved it so much I bought his other book!

This is the very best book I have ever read on the Bermuda Triangle. I wish I could give it 200 stars. It goes beyond just the Bermuda Triangle to
some scientific discoveries and information that will blow your hat off. I am not going to go any further. I want you to
read this for yourself. If you are interested in the Bermuda Triangle or even pre-history, this is the book for you. It is a MUST!
Gian Quasar outdid him or herself on this book!

Gian Quasar's "Into The Bermuda Triangle" is not merely a collection of stories about missing ships and planes. Quasar picks apart the dismissals of the nay-sayers and exhaustively examines all the theories about the Triangle, from the prosaic to the outlandish. Weather anomalies, electromagnetic disturbances, freak waves, UFOs, Atlantis and dimensional portals are all scrutinized in this well written and entertaining volume. An absolute must have for any serious Bermuda Triangle student.

I really get into books of this type, where good research has been done on the subject. I have always had a fascination with stories of the Triangle, and I really like what the writer has to say later on in the book regarding what might be causing all the unexplained events. No one really knows for sure what is going on, but I like the way the writer put some of the possible reasons as I have thought many of the same things. I would put this book above the other books written on the subject and if you enjoy reading about the Bermuda Triangle, this is the book for you.

I would consider this the bible of the Bermuda Triangle. Not just one person's tin hat theory on what is going on in the triangle, but highly researched with scientific evidence pointing to what is known and what has not been discovered yet. I would like to see a second book come out that would discuss more about how Andros, Los Roques, and the Coral Castle may all fit into the mystery. I liked how this book built up slowly and then really took off. Have I been through the Bermuda Triangle? Many times. It is just an oddball area. Do I want to go again? Not particularly. I do recommend this book to those who have any kind of interest in unexplained phenomena that is said not to exist.
