Four people, two stories, a well-crafted book filled with ups and downs. This is the second in the series, an exciting, emotion-filled follow up to Avery and Emery's story, where we get to watch their relationship truly form.
MW always know how to grip her readers and make them fall in love with her characters. She is real and as always writes straight from her heart. Plus her ability to weave in humor at just the right moments is impeccable. See above. LOL!
I highly recommend this read.
Bring on book 3!!!!!!
The twin girls are just getting to know one another after growing up never knowing each other. Their twin sister dynamic was beautiful, and I don’t think they could have come into each other’s lives at a more perfect time. This was it. This was the moment they would need each other the most.
As with all of Melyssa Winchester books, her characters are raw and gripping. They don’t always make the best choices but they always have the best of intentions. Here, we watch four people fight for independence as well as fight for family and friendship. We watch them figure out life, stumbling at times, but then having someone beside them to catch their fall.
It took time, though. In fact, it took two books for them to get it right. But they needed that time. It wouldn’t have worked without it. We were dealing with four people and two couples after all.
Melyssa somehow managed to create four powerful individual stories and craft them into two love stories that were equally powerful.
And I absolutely loved the Swan song at the end. Absolute perfection.
