"Fox Lee's novel is different from any other novel I've read so far. It combines such a variety of elements that it would be impossible to get bored while reading it. In my opinion, you can't read this and think "Well, I've read something like this before..." because it's unique.I absolutely love the mix of genres - historical, dark fantasy, etc. -, not to mention that I've always enjoyed reading books which had some kind of connection to the Second World War. The "evil"/dark characters are well-built (the Dark One is scary!)."
One of the best Novels in it's genre for a long time
"I LOVED it. Into the Darkness is so much more than a zombie thriller. It has an intriguing, clever and fast moving storyline with rich and well crafted characters. There is no shortage of action, and this coupled with that tinge of romance makes it a very enthralling read. Highly recommended. 5 golden stars well deserved. Roll on the next novel please."
"What a fun read. Great work Fox Lee! Loved the storyline and characters. It was an action packed, suspenseful, and a very exciting read. All the right ingredients for a Zombie fiend :-) The story is captivating because the writer explains it in minute details. The characters are amazingly believable. You really get a sense that you're in the story. Looking forward to reading more books in this series. Buy this book and hold onto your kindle tight for an action-filled ride."

From the Author
I made every effort to make The Legend of Shadow and Light and the novel 'Into the Darkness
' a unique and memorable immersion into a world under the threat of impending doom. The idea for the development of the evil character Zorn came from a nightmare that I had back in 2004.
The story evolved (or perhaps devolved is more accurate) on its own, as I wrote the story over the course of almost ten years. I did not story-board the plots, or change anything that happened in the book. I just started writing and let the story go where it wanted to go.
I really appreciate all of the enthusiastic feedback that I have received since the launch of 'Into the Darkness'. From the early reviews, it appears that the heavy metal-inspired energy and pace of the book has enhanced its appeal and added to its charm.
I wrote the entire manuscript with the Metallica and Tool music cranked up, the lights low and a drink in my hand. I am pleased that readers are receiving that vibe in the tone of Darkness.
