I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Another great addition to the “Lyons Den Connected World”.
I have been introduced to several authors who I may have not connected with otherwise.
This particular story was just the right length. A nice slow burn into the love part of the relationship. Just a good story. I do hope Mark gets his own story - he may have one. I’ll have to check it out.
5+ Stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Matthew is the new Duke of Embleton, not what he wanted, but his father died unexpectedly. He needs the right wife to manage the estate when he goes back to aid Wellington. Hope is that Napoleon does not escape Elba. On his brother Mark's suggestion, Matthew goes to Mrs. Dove-Lyon. Once again she brokers the perfect lady for a wife. Sarah Ainsworth has physical and emotional scars from her marriage. A widow for two years, Mrs. Dove-Lyon calls in her loan. Accepting the marriage is her only choice.
I love a book with subtle humor, romance and some steam.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
It is hard to trust but oh the benefits can sometimes be well worth it. This is another read from the Lyon's Den series that will keep you wanting more. A must read.
