Format: Paperback
Was impressed by the author's attention to detail--details about sailing, geography, biochemical warfare--reveals a wide range of interests and also a widely traveled background--he writes what he knows about. Does a good job with this genre--ranks with Ludlum, Dale Brown, Patterson, Clancy, Mills, Flynn, but missing the offensive language. ...it's quite an entertaining and thought-provoking read.

I loved the sailing in this book, especially the chase of terrorists across the Pacific. I also like the author's attention to the fact that those out on the water every week are America's first line of defense against terrorism. This was my best summer read. It was hard to put it down. The facts in the book are also historically accurate. I highly recommend it!

In light of 9/11 this excellent novel has put more that a face to terrorists; it shows the human struggle as to why people do what they do. This story is filled w/ intrigue, extreme adventure, international travel and glorious sailing! I felt like I knew the characters. It definately kept me on the edge of my seat reading and was hard to put down.
