The Intova Sport 10K Sports Video Camera is a lightweight and affordable video and still-photo camera for capturing quality videos and photos in any environment. The Sport 10K comes with a compact housing that is waterproof to 140 feet (40 meters) and features a shock absorbent liner, double O-ring design, and full function control buttons. Even without the housing, the Sport 10K is waterproof to 10 feet. The Sport's VGA video captures 640 x 480 resolution videos and takes hi-resolution, 10K still photos. 4X digital zoom takes users closer to the action, and a macro setting allows for crisp macro shots as close as 4.3 inches (11 cm). Features include a 10 second delay self-timer, LCD display to use as a viewfinder or for video and photo playback, and a built-in flash for low light photography. When I received the camera, I was instructed to install the batteries. the manual said "Open battery door". I couldn't figure out how to open the door until I found a person online that was having the same problem. Another person answered that he had had the same problem and discovered that the door needs to slide to the side first to enable it to be opened.

Then I tried to turn the camera on, it will not turn on. I tried to connect it to the PC. According to the Intova website "99% of the time, updated drivers are not required-most computer software is Plug n Play. Exceptions are computers older than 10 years. The camera needs to be turned on first, then connected to the computer using the USB data transfer cable. A menu will pop up on the cameras LCD giving you the choice to pick “PC” (upload pictures) or “PC camera” (use as web cam). Choose “PC” by pressing the SET button and your computer will recognize the camera."

All mine says is Connecting...

The camera used a setoff batteries each 45min dive. it takes the best pictures underwater within 3 ft of subject otherwise the pics get very blue and since buttons r hard to push and close together the only one I wanted to push was the shutter and time is important while diving no time to white balance for each shot so move closer and shoot away. if battery (low) shuts camera down(50 pics) give it a minute and the camera will come back to life for 15 or 20 shots. it is not a professional DSLR so don't expect that. not sure id buy it again but it did ok and I sort of liked it and the field of underwater cameras is limited by price

Do NOT waste your money! I took this camera diving once. It leaked, camera was so slow I missed some good shots. Flash is a must in diving and the flash on this is very ineffective. Takes time to charge the flash and the pictures are very grainy. Stick with Intova's $20 - 35mm underwater camera, it is not great but better than wasting money on this digital. The flash is better and even though it needs to be charged before each picture as well, it is faster. Good luck finding a reasonably priced underwater digital camera that works well because I am defeated at the moment. :-(
