The action is set against Australia’s fabulous world-famous playground on the Pacific coast – but it’s also the crime capital of the country and a haven for crooks of all persuasions. This is a shadowy, shifting scene.

Traumatised and injured, Annie knows she must be closing in on the truth, but the undertows drag her ever deeper into the murky past before she finally delivers to Jack the real story about his family.

Intrigue in Paradise is the third book in the Annie Bryce series and is set in Queensland's famed Gold Coast, the playground of the wealthy with its' golden beaches, rolling surf and shady characters. The story begins with Annie's arrival in Brisbane after acting as a witness for the prosecution at a murder trial in England. She accepts an investigative assignment from an elderly Gold Coast retiree and from that moment the reader rides a rollercoaster of mystery, crime, humour and romance. The threat Annie thought had ended in the gem fields returns as an even greater peril, there isn't a dull moment. The author's love and knowledge of her home State, present and past, adds greatly to the reader's enjoyment. Intrigue in Paradise is another five star book from the Amazon store.
