(1) Not all prime purchases have given me the In-Home option (or it’s a longer shipping time).
(2) When the cloud cam loses connection for whatever reason (be it temporary internet connection interruption or sudden power outage), the camera rarely regains connection by itself. I have to physically unplug the power cord and plug it back it to restart. This is a problem because if the camera is offline, In-Home couriers will not leave the package inside. So if I’m away from home and I get a push notification that the camera is offline, I can’t use In-Home. I wish amazon could issue a firmware update to enable the camera to reboot itself in the event of network connection loss.
You can issue up to 100 different codes to people you want to grant access to your home. I gave codes to several people and most of them had a difficult time gaining entry. Not only is the screen reluctant to wake up when touched, but you have to touch the checkmark symbol after entering the code. That is rather unintuitive. It would be nice if the screen woke up immediately when touched and once the code was entered, the lock immediately unlocks, rather than needing the touch the checkmark symbol first.
