In late 2011, Oak Tree Systems began looking at cross-platform mobile development tools to support the needs of customers using TrainingForce. TrainingForce is a web-based software product for managing training within an organization. The concept was simple - provide a mobile application that extends key functions and integrates technology from a user's device based on their role within the training center. Synchronization of data between the device's local store and the enterprise server was necessary in case an internet connection was not available. After an exhaustive evaluation of products, Oak Tree selected RhoMobile as our development platform.
