Anyone in the process of writing a systematic review or just interested in the methodology would be well served by reading this book. Gough, et al do a fine job of going through the steps of creating a systematic review, explaining the various options available, and detail why systematic reviews are becoming an important research methodology. Well written in clear, concise English this is the best book available in the current literature on systematic reviews.

This book was purchased as a mandatory text for my graduate class (2nd year doctorate student)... However, I have found that Gough is a top-notch academic resource in the area(s) of dissertation methods. He has authored and co-authored many empirical references on the subject... the book is easy to digest and has a good flow... I have referenced it many times in my graduate studies...
