Most informative piece on Romans in Scotland I've seen

The section on the Roman conquest of Scotland is excellent. Highly readable, coherent and informative history. Photos on how the soldiers lived. One of the best sources I photocopied in the library on the Romans in Scotland. Not scholarly, but informative to me, and I have the scholarly sources.

I can't speak for the coverage on the Angles and the Vikings, having only photocopied the material on the Romans. That is why I rated the book 4 instead of 5. But that part of the book is so good, that next payday, I'm buying the book. I do'nt know why I didn't copy it to begin with, but that day I was focused on Romans and probably short of money. I came here to put it in my shopping cart.
