From the Back Cover
Rigid-heddle looms extend a friendly invitation to all weavers, novice and expert alike. Crafters will be thrilled by the possibilities: satisfying tapestry and transparency projects, bead weaving and e-textiles, and dramatic effects using simple finger-manipulated techniques. Adding a second or third heddle allows for more complex weaving, such as overshot, shadow weave, and very fine threads. Syne Mitchell's essential guide explores the full capabilities of these tabletop looms, covering all the basics and offering an amazing array of projects.

The kindle edition has some obnoxious formatting flaws. The captions don't always seem linked to the picture. Also, the letters "st" are linked together. It bugged me every time I saw it, which was often, since you get sentences like: "HiSTorically, moST weavers twiST STarting at the left". It can be painful to read. If that kind of thing bugs you, I'd get the print version.
The hyperlinks and reduced price make up for the deficits, in my eyes, but I hope they fix the eBook issues someday.
