Two major flaws; the USB-C plug is faulty and the you have to turn on the device every time you start your car. The USB-C doesn’t work properly, my cable keeps falling out. I have two USB-C cables and they both fall out - it’s defective. The 2nd issue is that I have to turn it on every time the car starts, it doesn’t turn on by it’s self. Many times, I assume it’s on like every other device powered by the car 12v. For those 2 reasons, I am very unhappy and stopped using after 2 days of attempted use.

I am one of those people who purchased a new car (a Toyota) last month only to find out that the newer models don't have CD players any more! I am very impressed with this little 300w inverter. I think this may be the best value for a 300w pure sine wave inverter anywhere. Try to find one with dual USB port aaaaand a USB-C PD port putting out 60 watts for this low price, I don't think you will. The construction of this thing is sleek and beautiful. It has a nice heft to it. I love that it has a reliable XT-60 connection for the power input. My intention for this is to use it off of my portable power station consisting of a 55ah lithium battery in a battery box. I am using it at the moment it and I currently have a 55" OLED TV, my Dyson, my Note 10+ charging, 4AA NiMH batteries charging and an electric scooter charging.... this inverter is running flawlessly. Having a pure since wave inverter is very important for sensitive electronics like TV and laptops. I love it and highly recommend!
Update 3/16/20201 I made my own adaptor which is an xt60 connector and copper terminals connected with 8 gauge wire. I connect this inverter directly to my battery to use it to it’s full potential

This product works great, handles 280W just fine. You will need make or buy wires to connect directly to a battery for 180W plus. This unit is definitely pure sine wave. My only concern is the voltage drop when the battery gets low. When the voltage is 12V or above the output is 110V but when the battery voltage is 11.3V the output voltage is 95.7V.

This inverter works perfect. I like the fact that the outlets are spaced far apart. Exactly what I need for my application as I need to plug in two wall warts at the same time. Build quality is excellent. I connected the output to my oscilloscope and the output is a perfect sine wave. My load is very small so the fan never turns on. The inverter runs absolutely quiet, no buzzing, humming or other noise.
However, quality control could be better, this is a replacement, for the first inverter I purchased, which was defective. The case temperature heated up to over 95 degrees, even when not turned on. This inverter stays perfectly cool even when turned on and in use.

I bought this small inverter to be able to power lights such as 2-ft Quasar Science Crossfades inside a car for night driving scenes. I ended up taking it on a flight with me to do a small shoot where all the lighting gear I had could be fit into a single suitcase. We ended up using it to charge our camera batteries in the rental car while traveling from location to location.

The nicest things about it were that it was pretty quiet and that it's nice and compact.

I didn't do a close check to make sure it was utterly silent, mind you. But in a moving car, whatever slight sound this thing makes is drowned out all the way by the sound of the engine and the tires on the road.

As for the size, this thing took up very little room in my case, and doesn't way a whole ton. It only provides 300 watts of output according to its specs, so you shouldn't expect to power anything particularly large with it. It probably won't work for you big screen TV, for instance. But it seems to provide nice consistent power for a dimmable LED light or two.

After reading the reviews here and searching for small, pure-sine wave, efficient inverters, I settled on this one. So far, after a test use, I like it a lot.

My use is a Rinai gas room heater that I would hope to power during winter power outages, since my furnace is proving to be difficult to power even with inverter-generators and transfer switches. The nice thing about the Rinai unit is it has low current draw - about 40 watts at full blast. 40watts means about 4 amps for the 12v wiring, well under the 10 - 15 or so amps the little XT60 - car cigarette accessory connector can take. With the 40watt Rinai heater plugged in, it ran fine on the inverter, without the case of the inverter heating up or the internal fan coming on. I plan to do a test when it gets a bit colder out of running the heater off the inverter for a few hours to see how the setup might work for a moderate winter power outage. I will report back...

One thing I wish the manufacturer would do, is supply the unit with an XT60 to alligator clips wire that could handle the full 300W (20-25A) that the inverter is stated to run at. That said, it looks like the inverter is really designed to run at the lower <10-15a (<180w) power that the supplied cigarette wire allows - and the efficiency of the inverter will be greater at the lower load. It looks like one can buy such a wire, but if you do, consider spending extra to get one with a fuse on hot (25A would be good) and thickish or shortish wires (14 AWG less than 2 feet or better) to avoid a disaster at the battery...

The device is compact and well made. Adding up a digital display informing about current voltage and wattage would be very helpful. The capacity of the inverter seems to be exaggerated!!! I've tried it with different gadgets consuming from 40 to 300 Watts with mixed results. A 40 Watt table fan worked OK. A 120 Watt coffee grinder with beans inside straggled at start up. I had to reset the inverter by pressing power switch and try the second time. A hair dryer at its lowest setting consuming no more than constant 290 Watts didn't even bother to start working... The overload protection circuit tripped immediately!
The inverter has another major flaw: it is 300 Watt rated however most cars/passenger vehicles cigarette lighter outlets support only up to 150 Watts. Above that value they either slowly overheat or the fuse blows up. In practice if someone wants to use the full 300 Watt capacity of this inverter it has to be connected directly to the battery. Another cable with alligator clips is needed then !
Decided to give it only 3 stars.
An update!
The inverter is not and can not be a 300W rated inverter! I tried it with a few different gadgets. It handles only 150 Watts!!! The proof: the fuse in the provided socket is rated as 15 Amps and the highest DC Voltage in a running car is about 13.6 Volts. That gives the MAXIMUM power your inverter can handle is 200 Watts. I'm returning the device to Amazon and posting a notice about this fraud!!!

Read the previous 1 star review so was ready to return if was indeed a scam but turns out it's not. Previous review didn't show you that the fuse is 15A 250V which (feel free to correct me) is equivalent to 30A 125V. Either that or the fuse is a fake and it worked with my 225W laptop power brick (Outputs 19.5VDC 11.5A so it's pulling in AT LEAST that much juice on the input) anyways. Tested this on a 12V automotive lead acid battery that I have for camping. Fan didn't sound like it kicked in but I only tested this for a short period of time (5 minutes) in a chilly garage. Also haven't tested the USB and PD either.

Did not test this in the car but will most likely trip the 15A fuse built into the line for the 12V plug so not going to try. Will have to try connecting this directly to the car battery to avoid blowing a fuse in my car.

Cable is a bit short for my taste and should have come with an option for a cable that goes straight to the battery (hence the 1 star short of 5). It comes in a sleek compact form. Has PD which most other inverters don't come with and it is cheaper than most other Pure Sine Wave converters at 300W (closest I could find was $89 and doesn't come with PD and will most likely cut my hands if I touch the edges of them from what I could see).
