This book is something like a dictionary--you get the Webster version in case you might like that, then you get the Investopedia version. Which is exactly like having a good Econ teacher translate it into plain English. Seriously? I can actually read the stock tables now.
Better, it doesn't assume that because you are not (yet) financially educated that you must also be a dingbat. The book makes a point of saying that financial education--just like any subject of life-long importance to kids, whether Math or Home Ec--is simply not taught, resulting in an entire population of otherwise capable folks who just need to catch up.......and Investopedia is the answer.
It's also an amusing read...
one could look up terms. The e-book format is totally worthless and a complete rip off.
One has to read the book from front to back. Which doesn't help if you are using this
for reference material. Instead buy the good old fashion book. The book is much better.
I would have given this book a much better rating, had the e-book not ripped me off.
