I ordered this one recently, after reviewing the product description and its dimensions, I knew it would be a big watch... which is fine as nowadays this is style commonly used. When I received this I was shocked by the size of the box it came in, it was not the average yellow box from Invicta but a pretty big yellow box. I was relieved when I got the watch out of it and wore it.
The quality of the watch is what you can expect from an Invicta, the design is pretty cool and very good looking (though it may be too thick to wear with a long sleeved shirt), the face includes both the day of the week and day of the month.
To set it up (as this information is not included in the box), the crown needs to be turned counterclockwise to set the day of the week and clockwise to set both the hour and the day of the month. It is important to note that there is a quick setup button above the crown, you can click on it with a pen and what it will do is change the day of the month on a one by one basis so you don't have to turn the crown endless times until you reach the desired date.
I have included a picture to give you an idea of how this looks, other than the pictures included by Amazon, it is big but I love the way it looks.
The leather band looks very well made not some cheap leather imitation.
About the weight, well... when you see the box of it and hold it you might thing O___o "Ok, this will change my gravity center" but once you use it it's fair enough for the size, obviously don't expect to feel it like a 34mm diameter watch.
At the end it's a very nice watch to use it daily for work or casual day off (Unless you use tuxedo for work of course)
I've uploaded a picture where it's next to a Women's Seiko SNDY18 just if you want to compare de dimensions of each one in look and in description of the product (Case diameter).Seiko Women's SNDY18 Two Tone Stainless Steel Analog with Mother-Of-Pearl Dial Watch
I don't like that they pretend it's a high end
Watch. These watches, unless purchased prior to 1950 are just really nice FASHION WATCHES PERIOD! VERY WELL BUILT FOR MOST MODELS, BUT FASHION WATCHES NONE THE LESS. STILL I LOVE THEM, GREAT FOR COLLECTING FASHION WATCHES.
P.S. BE OF SALES TOOL OF HUGE SAVINGS BY HUGE MARKDOWNS LIKE 90% AND 70% AND SO ON, IT'S NOT A ACTUAL SAVINGS UNLESS YOU SEE THE WATCH YOUR BUYING AT A LARGE REPUTABLE JEWLER PRICED AT 1000.00
AND THEY OFFER THAT THOUSAND DOLLAR WATCH FOR 100.00 YOU AREN'T GETTING 90% OFF !!! I think everyone gets the idea of what I'm saying. I can't say enough though about buying what YOU LIKE. AND I REALLY LIKE INVICTA !
So far I have sat and bent the band manually by hand while watching tv and worn it a few days in a row but the band has reinforced stitching up by the face which makes that part of the band stiff and flat making it fit strangely on the wrist area.
As I said the watch is nice good size fits well but the band is just kinda stiff still, hoping with more wear and more bending it manually it will loosen up eventually for me making it the perfect everyday watch.
4 out of 5 for me, if the band was more comfortable it would be a 5 out of 5 at this price with a 2nd as backup in the drawer.
UPDATE 3 months now band still stiff due to the U stitch by the dial, I only wear occasionally due to comfort, might just search for a new band, love the watch.
One thing to warn, the watch is quite big. If you have small wrists and hands, this will fit way too large.
Otherwise if I could find one complaint about the watch, is the lack of instruction when setting the time and date. Time is like any other watch, but you need to poke the button at the side with something small to set the date. I found fingers don't work.
Another thing, being a low end watch, the second hand doesn't quite line up at the ticks as it goes around, but you will see this with a lot of low end and even some higher end quartz movements.
Overall GREAT watch
Band seems decent but just needs broken in; second hand doesn't land right on the hashes perfectly half the time but my dad's Timex does the same thing but again this is a $50 watch. I think the size is nice; not too big at all
All in all its a nicely styled watch that I'll be wearing everyday.
