is affiliated with the Dominican University in Califormia. Her Ph.D. is in cognitive psychology and her areas of interest include gender, ethnicity and a focus on the teaching and development of critical thinking skills. <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Carol Tavris
earned her Ph.D. in social psychology and as a writer and lecturer focuses on educating the public about the importance of critical and scientific thinking in psychology. <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Dr. Wade and Dr. Tavris are Fellows of the American Psychological Association and charter members of the American Psychological Society.
