Well Made and Looks Great

I ordered this item knowing it would take awhile to arrive...it was worth the wait.

Design: It's nice to have an Otterbox-like case to protect the Nexus 4. This case has a protective rubber covering that protects, the edges, back, and keeps the screen from touching a table if laid on its face. On top of the rubberized covering, there is a plastic case that holds the rubber piece on and provides further protection for the phone.

The case does not restrict access to any port or the camera and speaker. The case is very accurately measured and looks very professionally made.

Looks: The pattern on the back actually looks great! When I saw the pictures on Amazon I thought it looked a bit silly. I still ordered the case because I wanted the protection I thought it would offer. But, in person, the case looks GREAT!!

Overall: I am very happy with this purchase and for around $13 (including my shipping), I couldn't be happier.

Protects corners, front, and fits well; just a bit looser than expected

I bought this for my wife's LG Nexus 4, and she liked the looks immediately. The corners and depth of the rubber on the front face cover the vital areas of the phone pretty well, so it appears that this is what I was looking for when it came to protection of her phone. She did comment the other day that the case can easily be peeled off of the phone (must have been the way she was grabbing it out of her bag). The only thing I wish it had was a kickstand, but the wife didn't care at the time, so we shall see if her mind changes. For the price, it's a great buy.

I am a phone dropper. I drop it early and often. My husband despairs, and my new phone has small crack. This is my second case for my google phone, the first immediately broke when I dropped the phone on the street in surprise that the school secretary felt the need to call me at 9am. I continued to use my broken case until I found this one. The rubber is tight, and the hard plastic side pieces hold it on well without being exposed to the cold, hard concrete of broken phone dreams. It does make the phone large. My reaction is a shrug. Sure I use my phone for calls, the school secretary calls me at least once a week, but when all said and sifted, it is a computer that I use to read my blogs, and I appreciate not cracking it all the time.

Possibly I should have chosen a more muted color, but this one is certainly obvious and will be handy when I travel with a group and we all simultaneously charge our phones. I wish they made bright orange. The back is really strong and the rubber bumpers project out enough to seriously cushion the edges. Great choice for protection.

The case looks exactly like the picture. I was hoping the color would be more of a purple but I ordered it anyway. It slips on easily and stays on, however it isn't a hassle to take off either. There's grips on the top and bottom of the case which makes it convenient not to slip out of your pocket, hands, or purse. No complaints with the product. Works perfectly for the nexus 4.

Something went wrong with the shipping, however. It took me and extra 2 weeks to get the case.

I bought this case and the blue one for my twin daughters to protect their new Nexus 4 phones they got for Christmas. They are 6th graders, and this is their first phone, so I wanted something that would protect the phone really well. At the time, because the phone was brand new, there were not many cases available. This one looked the most heavy duty without being too bulky, plus it came in different colors (which was a must). First, this case is listed as "purple", but it really is the magenta color you see (which is what I wanted). This is a 2 piece case -- the rubbery, silicone part that goes over the entire phone (the black part) and the harder plastic part that snaps on the back and around the sides. The silicone part is pretty soft and grippy, but it does attract lint and dust, so if that bothers you, you might consider a different case (the spots on the back are made of that material as well). The color is just as shown. It is impossible to put the case on and off without pushing buttons, but most people aren't taking their cases on and off. Even though the side buttons are covered, they are still easy to push (I had a case where that was not the case, and it was pretty annoying having to push so hard). It fits the phone very nicely, and the corners are extra padded. If you want decent protection without a lot of bulk, this is a great case. I prefer the more minimal TPU gel cases, but for my tween daughters, I don't quite trust them enough yet. ;) Another plus are the cool dots on the back. That just sets it apart from your run of the mill case.

I bought this case about 3 years ago, and I absolutely loved it. The edges fit on to my Nexus very well, and did not get loose and peel back like some other cases do. Although I no longer have the Nexus, I passed this case on to a friend who has used it ever since. If you are looking for a great case without the bulkiness, and you are not someone who is known for dropping their phone in water this is a great case.
