Ian Sharp usually counted on his good looks and irresistible charisma to get him out of life’s sticky binds. More importantly, these attributes were his gifts to women. That is, until he met Kendra Mercury and everything became, well, complicated ...
By anyone’s standards, Kendra was the total package: beautiful and smart. Men constantly made passes at her but it was Ian that made her heart soar. However, after she met Ian, ‘smart, sensible Kendra,’ became, well … someone else. But the way Kendra saw it; ‘no one knew Ian,’ like she did …
And then there was Peter Rite, who matched Ian in charisma, smarts and good looks. From the moment that Peter met Kendra, he just knew that she was the face of his heart …
There was no denying that Kendra and Ian had quite the effect on each other, and there was no denying that Kendra and Peter also had quite the effect on each other. Ian was used to getting what he wanted, Peter was secured in his ability to keep and appreciate what he had, and Kendra did whatever Kendra wanted. It led to one big complicated mess. And of course, there was the other matter of Liana …
Born out of passion and desire, rejected by the man that gave her life but accepted by another that loved her like his flesh and blood, Liana was in the middle of the triangle that was Kendra, Ian and Peter but for different reasons. However, all their issues took a insignificant turn on one faithful evening when life threw Kendra, Ian, Peter and everyone else in-between, a curveball. Suddenly, everyone is tested to the brink, and Liana’s ability to ever live a healthy life again, hangs in a balance as they are all thrust into a unique situation ... and not for reasons that you think …
as I take my morning walks,
I speaking quietly, I listen silently.
I hear, I think and I smile.
I have a voice. I have an audience.
I am my audience and so are the early risers,
the whistling birds, the chirping squirrels,
the crawling ants, the gentle breeze
and the rest of nature.
We are one, we are each other's stories,
We are Destiny's Voices...
Words give character to our personalities.
We express them loudly or silently.
We express them in various ways.
I am responsible for what I say
and you are responsible for how you interpret what I say.
Enjoy Destiny’s Voices, a poetry book; lyrical, narrative and everything else in-between.
Kelly and Danny are going about the business of life when their worlds collide. Their union opens them to a whole new experience…and a trail of unhappy people. Tragically, when Dave, their best friend finally realizes that there will never be a chance of a relationship with Kelly, he takes matters into his own hand on her wedding day as he seals many people’s fates with a single heinous act. In response, Kelly’s fiancé, Danny, makes the ultimate sacrifice in honor of his true love while Kelly reacts by hiding behind a cloak of memory loss.
However, Kelly’s parents, Drs. John and Taylor Dawson see what happened to their daughter as the perfect opportunity to deceive her into marrying a certain Dr. Gregory Krebb, the part owner of the hugely successful Krebb-Anderson Medical Center. Greg is three-times divorced, partially bald, almost twice Kelly’s age, insensitive and, well, arrogant. The only thing cute about him is his intelligence… and even that is debatable. Nevertheless, the wedding between Greg and Kelly is grand and the marriage is perfect…just as long as Greg is in control.
Years later, after Kelly meets a strikingly foreigner in the person of Aburion in the most unexpected manner. But he is a broken man with a hunted past and of course he has Yemisi for a mother. Yemisi, who knows the power of a mother over a son. Yemisi, who will use whatever means necessary to keep Kelly and Aburion apart…
And then there is Tristan. Tall, handsome, and successful, he is the total package. Every woman wants him and every man wants to be him but no one is as determined as Jamie Sand to get him. Beautiful, spoiled, and rich, Jamie demands and gets exactly what she wants. Tristan fits her criteria of a father to her baby. She pursues him with shameless zeal until she has his ring on her finger. Unfortunately, it is after Tristan meets and marries Jamie that his carefully constructed world falls apart.
But wait, there’s more to Destiny’s Faces. Keep reading…
