Iris Chance is turning 33 and she wants a baby more than anything but has no male prospects in mind. She would love the whole family package but fears she is running out of time. She's decided a sperm bank is her only hope.
Geoff McLeod never dreamed his wife would end their six-year marriage with a text message. Broken by her betrayal he moves to Hidden Falls to teach English and Creative Writing. He has no interest whatsoever in women or dating...until he meets Iris Chance, a baker who makes the best Morning Glory muffins he’s ever tasted. He just can't start his day without one or a quick visit to see the sexiest woman who dons an apron.
This is a fun and interesting romance and one I highly recommend.
Iris in Bloom is great. I love these stories. There is a man and a woman, neither of them perfect, they have issues to work through and they do. The issues are serious enough but they don't have a lot of drama in the story. Just solutions to the issues. Iris is the oldest sister. She owns the local coffee shop she is 33. She has reached that age of thinking she will never meet her intended. Since she lives in a very small town and knows most of the single guys and that they are not a fit for her she has a right to worry.
But then the local high school gets a sexy new English teacher and he rather fancies the coffee shop owner. He is in the middle of a divorce and Iris feels like he needs more time to get over his ex. He has other ideas. This is their story and it is a good one. I LOVED it and I am so anxious to read the next book Blueprint for a Kiss , that I have already downloaded. I just hope the rest of the kids get their stories rather quickly. I hate to leave this family for long. Great story, great read, and I highly recommend it. I really enjoyed it. I must add that these are all stand alone books. You don't have to read in any special order if you don't want to.
