-1st thing I noticed was this felt like a quality boot and they were well oiled.
-Made by Red Wing
-$$$$$ Cheaper than USA Red Wings and still have good quality (Made in China)...good bang for buck.
-Feel broken in when you 1st put them on.
-Personally I like the logo.
-The insole is better than the average insole.
-Made in China (may be a deal breaker to some so just mentioning it....but this also makes them cheaper, which I why I bought them)
-I don't like the laces, but they are okay..
I ened up putting Lexol leather conditioner on them and put a little bit too much in my opinion. (also the boots come heavily oiled already) (also I put the Lexol on them before I even wore them)
They will eventually dry up a bit more but I would have rather been more careful with the Lexol....so keep that in mind if you use oil on them...less is more!
honestly I don't think they need more oil on them than what mine had from the factory.
-Great Bang for buck boots
-For the price I don't think you can do much better.
A year and a half later, I am on my second pair now. I still have the first. It serves as aback up. Great boots, easy to shine up and work up a sweat in.
I will be buying a third pair the moment it goes on sale.

I upgraded to these shoes after going through two pairs of the Caterpillar Men's Second Shift Work Boot,Dark Brown,9.5 W US within two years. The Caterpillars were heavy duty but light weight. While they remained perfect on the outside, the padding would wear out within 10 months. So this time around, I decided spend a little more in the hopes of getting a shoe that will last much longer.
So far, these boots have been great. I have worn them comfortably all day after breaking them in for a couple of days.
Shipping was fast and the boots arrived with no issues.
