Reel in a big one with the 3819 Lakeside 08 boating and fishing shoe from Irish Setter. This rugged distressed leather shoe keeps your feet dry with a nylon moisture-wicking lining and supports you in comfort with an EVA footbed and midsole. The Dynamic Spine System helps absorb shock and reduce fatigue, while the non-marking pod grip sole keeps you steady on deck.
Hunting isn't their hobby. It's their calling. It's all they were made to do. In sixty years, they've never lost focus. They've never followed anything but their instincts. They've never let up. They still live for the chase, pursuing innovation from dusk to dawn. They're in the fields, the blinds and the stands, long after the fair-weather crowd heads inside. They do all of this to build incredible hunting boots, because at Irish Setter, the hunt never ends.

These shoes are just as stylish and far more comfy than the Rockport's I usually purchase. And, as a rule, I can find them online at cheaper prices. I own this pair and its clone, the 3820 (which has a khaki fabric accent instead of green) and I get compliments on them all of the time.
Thus far, I have found them sturdy and well-constructed.
They look good with business casual attire, with or without socks, and I tend to wear them any time I am not wearing sports shoes or summer flip flops.
I've found that they have an excellent grip on most surfaces, and are comfortable for light hiking, easy walks and office type environments. They aren't meant for any really strenuous activity, so don't expect any ankle support or toe protection.
