Why do I feel Iron maiden should've changed their name to just Maiden after DiAnno left the band since he was the Iron in Maiden.wait whats Bruce doin on the cover of this release I found this dvd @ a local flea mrkt for $2.00 its not what I expected but it is Maiden in the early days in my opinion the 1st 2 maiden albums are their best no disrespect to Brucie but Dianno was the man.this dvd was put out by the same co. that put out UFO's Strangers in the night review on dvd

This is a DVD about the making of Iron Maiden's debut album "Iron Maiden" and is crap.

Notice the chap on the cover of the DVD...that's the great Bruce Dickinson.

Bruce Dickinson did not sing on Iron Maiden's debut album "Iron Maiden" or on the followup "Killers". Bruce joined the band in 1981 and the first album with him was "The Number Of The Breast". If any DVD is made about Iron Maiden's debut album and current band members Steve Harris and Dave Murray do not have an interview included then you should be skeptical about the quality and how authentic the DVD is.

As for the people doing the interviews.

Paul Di'Anno sang on the album (he should be on the cover and not Bruce), Paul was an alright singer but got booted from the band for cocaine abuse.

Dennis Stratton played on the album but was only in the band for a year from October '79 to October '80.

Who the hell is Tony Moore? Aside from his fame with the band the Cutting Crew he is not listed as a former member on the bands website. Wikipedia says he practiced with the band and did at least one gig before he quit, how is he a credible interviewee.

It looks like Di'Danno is trying to make a buck off of the Iron Maiden name...don't buy this DVD.
