There has only been one previous pressing of 500 records on red vinyl. Produced by Hans Zimmer, the album includes the previously unreleased 1960s Iron Man Theme from the animated TV series and a bonus track from California trash giants Suicidal Tendencies. Iron Man was the first outing for Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, a role that he has certainly made his own. This film may not have been the first Marvel film, but it was the one that set the standard for all films that followed in its wake.

I just LOVE this whole soundtrack; it's totally rocking! What I don't understand, though, is why it's not available on Amazon.com's "Digital Music" category, as well.
I bought this because I loved the composer's work on Pacific rim and rewatched iron man during lockdown.like all the marvel movies the soundtrack is great and I got it on CD!.I know I'm showing my age here but it was so great to get this on disc. Please can we have more like captain marvel released on CD not just MP3.thanks.
The score of Iron Man is definitely very nice, not all the tracks are exactly made to be listened without images, but Trinkets to kill a prince, Mark I, Fireman, Mark II, Driving with the Top Down are worth to be part of your mp3 compilation for commuting, or jogging. I love the way Djawadi wrote the score and the themes dedicated to the Iron Man, not a fanfare but a progression, "it's coming, it's coming, there it is". Very very nice.
