If you're not using IronMind lifting straps, you probably are not lifting as much as you could be. Versatile and effective, use IronMind Strong-Enough Lifting Straps for deadlifts, rows or pull-ups when you don't want to be limited by your grip; or on snatches or clean pulls if you want to give the calluses on your palms a rest while you continue to get stronger. Named the official lifting strap of the World's Strongest Man contest in 2008, but equally at home around the wrists of weekend warriors.

First impressions had me very surprised, since I wasn't expecting much from a basic lifting strap. These feel like super high quality, heavy cloth material. Almost silky and cool to the touch, but super strong and solid. The logo is actually rubber, which is a nice touch. Overall a solid, extremely well-made product.
I'm no world class athlete, but I imagine these will more than suffice for regular 405 lbs - 495 lbs deadlifts for quite some time! Glad I made the decision to try these out.
Since situations like a strap coming undone or taking forever to wrap are not acceptable for competition I decided to order these. As my SO said, "if they are goid enough for the pros, they're good enough for us".
The straps are very thin and narrow which means that they are flexible out of the bag and a break in period is not necessary. They are longer than standard straps. Coupled with how narrow they are, it is relatively easy to wrap the straps much tighter than others. The material also has a good bite on unknurled bars.
When I used the Valeo straps for the first time, the cotton would allow me to rotate the bar to tighten down one hand while the other hand stayed in place. Thing is that the straps would also try to slip a bit.
When I used the Strong-Enough straps for the first time, the synthetic material griped the bar and wouldn't let it go. It forced me to change my approach for wrapping the straps around the bar, but the end result was a much more secure grip. These things really are engineered not to break and it feels like in your hand as well.
