Inversion may help reduce back stress and strain by relieving pressure on the vertebrae discs and ligaments. It may help reducing fatigue and relaxes the overall body. Inversion may also help promoting stimulation of blood circulations resulting in relief of stiff muscles and increasing body flexibility improving athletic performance. Just 5 or 10 minutes of inversion every day may help relieving lower back aches and pain due to sitting, standing or any other cause of muscle stress.

Whether you want to reduce back stress or fatigue or stimulate your blood circulation, the Ironman Gravity 2000 inversion table makes a great household accessory. The inversion table contributes to your body's overall health by optimizing lumbar traction, thereby relieving pressure on your vertebrae discs and ligaments. And when your back starts to relax, the rest of your body follows. The table can also help with such areas as increasing body flexibility for improved athletic performance, reducing the effects of aging due to gravity, and relieving lower backaches due to sitting or standing.
The Gravity 2000 boasts a durable tubular steel frame with a scratch-resistant powder-coated finish. The backrest, meanwhile, is made of a heavy-duty nylon material that's extremely durable yet still comfortable when the table is in use. Most importantly, the inversion system is a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the nylon backrest and slip your feet into the ergonomically molded ankle cushions, simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body gradually inverts up to 180 degrees. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. The table includes three different starting inversion angles, and inverts up to 180 degrees.
Users will also appreciate the tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers, which keep the table stable while you invert, and the extra-long safety handles, which provide an easy return to an upright position. Other details include a height-adjustable frame up to 6 feet 6 inches; support for up to 300 pounds; and vinyl safety side covers to protect hands and fingers. The Gravity 2000, which folds into a compact footprint for easy storage, measures 26 by 65 by 49 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 55 pounds.

Now I am including the inversion table in my everyday therapy routine. In the morning I use the table for about 2-3 minutes at an agle of about 60 degrees. In the afternoon I use it at full inversion for about 5 minutes. I also walk for about 20 minutes once or twice a day, more on weekends. Also I stretch at night as much as I can tolerate.
Bottom line if you have back/leg pain due to compressed or bulging disk, this will probably help. For me it has help significantly.
Now on to what this table has done for me ...it has completely eliminated back pain I have had for years! YEARS! I have recently started having low back pain, I've had mid and upper back pain for longer than I can remember ( I am someone with large breasts which is the cause of this pain). The incline is easy to control and I feel completely safe on this table. The immediate relief was my lower back, the upper back pain relief came later. I frequently get my back adjusted and this is the only relief from constant pain, I have a contraption called a magic back which is a curved piece of plastic that used to give me a little short- lived relief for my upper back. You lie on the floor with it positioned under you and the exaggerated curve helps stretch your back. I had a brain storm after a few days and wondered what would happen if I combined my magic back with my table. The results were phenomenal! I do my primary stretches on the inversion table without, then add the magic back under me on the table. The second I inverted to about a 70 or 80 degree angle the curve of the magic back popped my upper back with the same effectiveness as a chiropractor! The combined curve and extra gravity was all it took! The day I tried this I was desperate my pain was so bad I was actually crying, that was a week ago, and I've had no pain! None! I shared the additional information about the magic back because it works so incredibly well. I almost never write reviews, I'm writing this one now because if anyone is in the kind of pain I was in I want them to know there is help. This table is amazing, for mid and upper back pain add something beneath you (for me magic back traction device), probably a firm medium sized ball or anything to apply some pressure while inverting.
I would've happily given much more money to take away my chronic pain, being pain free is priceless and I thought unattainable. I was wrong in both counts, my pain is gone and it was affordable, under $200! I firmly believe this table will last years and continue to keep my entire back pain free. Good luck, I hope this review helps.
