The H and h both had things I liked and disliked early in the story. Jaxson Irons was so Alpha he was almost arrogant in the beginning. And I'm not crazy about arrogant. But as the story progressed that got much better. My problem with Frankie was similar, except that I felt she was too weak! That, too, changed! BIG TIME!!! Both characters grew a LOT through the pages of this book!!! And in the end, I absolutely loved them both!!! I especially loved the way they came together to be a team, along with other characters we met along the way! Can't wait to read Shadows' story!!!!
I love this series. With Jax keeping Frankie away, to keep her safe, he can't stand to be away from her. He goes to her and wants everyone to know especially her parents they are together. When a crash happens and Jax's loses his memory, will the love they have for each other bring his memories back or will his mother and Mimi use that to there advantage? What happens when secrets come out, will Frankie ever trust Jax again. I can't wait to read what will happen in the next book
I really love this series. What Frankie & Jax's has to go thru it is refreshing to see that no matter what, no one will ever come between them. With trying to get Firefly and learning secrets and everyone trying to bring them down, I couldn't put my kindle down. I I've the characters especially Shadow & Titan and can't wait for Shadow's book
Francesca is the little sister of Will Jax's beat friend and Navy brother. But she isn't very little when Jax realizes there is something about her he desperately needs. She doesn't take anyone's bunk! There is one thing she wants and she has wanted most of her young life, and that is Jax. When Frankie and Jax come face to face years after the unspeakable tragedy that changed all of their worlds, there was no denying their inevitability, although Jax tries to avoid it with everything he has....
This book has everything. It has mystery, intrigue, love and a whole lot of steam. Oh my can this author spin a tale! Go get this series!
I've recommended this series before and I'll recommend it again. If you're looking for a good military read, this is the one to get.
Irons, follows the lives of Jax and Francesca. A life that has its shares of sorrow and heartbreak. We are introduced to Jax, as a lieutenant in the US Navy. Jax has always followed in the shadows of his father, always was told to live up to something more. Even if he wasn't sure what he was going to live up to he knew he wanted to change. Change the world if he could and he tries his hardest to make something of himself. He decided to dedicate is life to that of his country and his fellow men.
But a small decision, just a small effect can cause tremendous damage and for Jax those can cause a life time of pain.
Francesca has always looked up to her brother Will. Always looked up to Jax, her brother's best friend as well and when they decide to fight for their country, she couldn't have been any prouder than she was they day they left, but when the two people you love don't come home together...
Francesca has to deal with the fact her heart lies with the one man she didn't think would be back in her life. Jax didn't know where his life ends and begins if Francesca isn't in it. But what can they do when their lives are forever changed? Can they find the love and peace they desperately seek?
For me, I personally loved Irons. Irons is a military romance novel, but it has so many layers with in it. M.J. Fields is able to give you the details, but giving the extra emotions to her characters and I truly enjoyed every bit.
Her style of writing is intriguing, she gives each character a spotlight within each book and allows for you to connect with each of them. Not a lot of authors can give their readers the connections they need and M.J. Fields was able to.
5 stars for Irons, I think you will truly enjoy this emotion and intense military romance novel. I can personally say you will not go wrong by checking out Irons and if you liked it like I did, check out Shadows. It's supposed to be as intense as Irons.
