What do you get when you cross a stupid title with 160 child"ish", clichéd, worthless, supposed witticisms???...this absolutely inane piece of tripe. Unless you don't know how to keep your underwear clean or are so crude you need one line bits of info about how to fart in public, you most likely won't glean anything from this supposedly funny book of life lessons and thoughts. If you simply "can't live without it", get it when it's free. I find the thought of spending $3 dollars for this "book" sickening and cannot imagine anyone spending $13 for it and coming away with a smile. Oh, and the five star reviews, I just noticed that there are only 5 "Amazon verified purchases" out of 25 reviews...yet for the 14 3, 2 and 1 star reviews there are 10 verified purchases; also look at the disparity of "helpful" to "unhelpful" votes between these two blocks of voters ??? I smell a rat!!! Just some food for thought.
The book presents simple enough advice, statements and general to-dos that are weird, wacky, and rather deep. They are presented one page at a time, one sentence at a time. The ideas are random, although I was pleasantly surprised at more than one page.
This would probably make a good coffee table book, because you could always pick it up, randomly open it to a page, and ponder the thought presented to you for the entire day. As I've read this on the Kindle App, it's hard to do such a thing.
From the first bit of wisdom "It's not your mama's macaroni and cheese if you used spaghetti noodles" to the practical "Eat at the bar instead of waiting an hour for a booth." Ish is full of interesting advise and bit of practicality.
A fun little list of "ishisms" to share with friends and family, over a dnner table or in the work lunchroom.
