The Islamic Antichrist: The Shocking Truth about the Real Nature of the Beast Paperback – March 3, 2015

4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,599 ratings

The Bible predicts in the last days a charismatic leader will establish a global following in the name of peace. Islamic prophecy also predicts that a man will rise up to lead the nations, pledging to usher in an era of peace. Islam’s savior is called the Mahdi. However, the man in the Bible is the Antichrist. Joel Richardson’s stunning research and analysis suggest the Mahdi and the Antichrist may actually be one and the same. In The Islamic Antichrist, Richardson exposes Western readers to the traditions of Islam and predicts the end times may not be here. Richardson’s revelations will stun readers who are unaware of the similarities between the Antichrist and the Islam’s expectations about a returning Jesus. His explanation of the relationship between Christian end-time prophecy and Islamic expectations of world domination has shocked readers and revolutionized eschatological expectations for a generation. The Islamic Antichrist is the book to read for insights on the world's fastest-growing religion and the future of the world.

Book Report:
The Islamic Antichrist is a very informative book to read. We cannot always trust the news media of today to give us proper information about the actual happenings around us. It is important for us to inform ourselves from other sources, meaning sources we can trust. We all need to be informed about what Isis is really all about and to know that Islam is not a "friendly" religion. This book teaches us about Islam from the Qur'an itself and compares it with the Word of God, the Bible. Every American should be reading this book.

Joel Richardson (not his real name, as he is well aware of death threats made against anyone critical of Islam, as are many of us) has produced a book which uses extensive (and fully in-context) quotations from both Islamic and Christian eschatology to show the disturbing parallels, and differences, between the two versions of "end-times prophecy" held by these two Abrahamic religions.

The hatred between Jews and Arabs goes back far, far earlier than the rise of Islam, of course, and goes back to the infamous "stolen birthright" story from the Old Testament. The hatred between Muslims and Jews is largely based upon that, along with a "betrayal" which Mohammed felt was visited upon him when he first claimed to be "fulfilling Judaism and Christianity." The study of Mohammed, and the word supposedly given to him by "the Archangel of Light" which makes up the Koran, and the various "sayings and examples" of Mohammed and his chiefs, known as the Hadith, are at the core of this scholarly work.

The basic point of this book is to illustrate the remarkable parallels between the various figures in both Christian and Muslim "end times prophecies." Every figure, and every event, is present in both sets of "prophecy," but the "good guys" in Christian prophecy (which predates Muslim prophecy by centuries, remember) are made into the "bad guys" in Muslim prophecy, and vice versa. Muslim prophecy even attempts to claim that "Jesus" is not only unrelated to the figure at the center of Christianity, but will in fact be the person who will see to the beheading of every Christian who refuses to convert to Islam when he returns to serve the Mahdi (the Islamic "Final Caliph" and, effectively, messiah) and to lead the Mahdi's worldwide faith.

It was remarkable to see the sheer parallels. Having read both the Christian and Muslim documents, I'd noticed some of this previously, but must admit to having missed many of the intricacies. Yet, upon further review, I quickly came to see that the author was not only correct, but was, if anything, UNDERSTATING some of the impact of some elements, in an attempt to avoid demonizing the the "ordinary" Muslims who have never been given a choice in what they believe.

Now, if you believe in Islam, this book will help you to understand how Christians see your own beliefs, and where the differences are. If you are a Christian, this book will make a compelling case to you that the current "Arab Spring," with the rise of Islamist doctrine, including the restoration of the Caliphate (last attempted through the Ottoman Empire), is something you need to watch very closely indeed.

And, if you believe in NEITHER, this book will still be of great interest to you, if for no other reason than to help you understand the irreconcilable differences between these faiths, and in particular the belief held by fundamentalist, literal-Koran-believing Muslims, that they must bring about the end of the current world (starting with the utter destruction of the Jewish people, and the establishment of the throne of the Mahdi on the Temple Mount, but continuing into nuclear war, world-wide) in order to bring about the creation of "Paradise." Even if you don't believe it, Iran's leaders believe it, and most of the leaders of the so-called "Arab Spring" movement believe it, and the new leadership in Turkey seem to believe it as well. So, it has great socio-political repercussions, whether any of what is believed is true or not.

If you care about what's changing in the world today, and in particular about where the changes in the Middle East are leading... this book is invaluable reading. And if you are a Christian, a Jew, or a Muslim, it takes on an additional level of relevance.

I think this book is truly outstanding. It is not some academic tome pontificating about some vague philosophical argument. The author is a living person who has lived both sides of the worldviews which he has studied in depth. He is not 'preachy' in expressing his conclusions, but merely states what he has found to be true. Chapter Eighteen is especially alarming when he compares the Islamic and Biblical narratives of the End Times. That will make the hair on your head stand straight up! His identification of Magog sounds interesting. Usually, Magog is described as coming out of the 'North'. Joel describes it as Turkey. Hmmm? The Ten Nation Federation surrounding Israel that signs a peace treaty with Israel initiating the 70th week of Daniel seems to be coming together right now. The middle East uprisings in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and other places, sure looks like the table is being set for the final battle of the 'Cosmic Conflict'. When you combine the writings of Robert Van Kampen in "The Sign" with this book, the picture is absolutely astounding. We could be living in a time that we could actually be witnesses to the events described in the Bible as the Last Days. Talking about it, studying about it, debating about it, all these things are quite different from actually living it - or seeing the reality of it. WoW! We could actually be eye witnesses to the end times. Now THAT'S scary! But if we are informed, we will be prepared, and we will be able to see the signs of the times, the sign of His coming, and the sign of the end of the age. It is not something to be afraid of at all, for we know that God's purposes shall be accomplished, we know the outcome. Satan's wrath will be horrific, but God's wrath will be even more devastating, but victorious!
In this book the Mahdi and the Antichrist are described and compared in detail. The comparisons are truly eyeopening. The same is true with the false prophet. People in different parts of the world now are talking about a 'new world order', even those in our own government here in the USA! It makes you wonder where all this kind of thinking is coming from? From the one who wants to be like the most high? The Messiah of Islam and the Messiah of Christianity are quite different, but the Mahdi and the Antichrist are the same. Islam even has a Jesus, but is not the same Jesus of the Bible!
This is REALLY an interesting book. I am going to read it over and over again to understand it thoroughly in every detail so I can understand what the Muslims are actually saying in their public pronouncements. Deceit, lying and outright dishonesty in Islam is advocated as long as it helps to promote the expansion of Islam. Muhammad said "war is deception" and encouraged Muslims to use an aggressive jihad/wartime mentality defined by deception. I have been to that area of the world and my grandson is serving over there now and I have observed first hand that their culture is one of lying. They will say anything they think you want to hear. Truth has nothing to do with it.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this book. Buy it. Read it. Buy "The Sign" too! Tell the author "It's GREAT"

This was very helpful to me as I never really had much interest in considering Islam as the tool of the antichrist. Very informative, good research and referencing, well edited, smooth reading.

I found something worth considering. The Dajjaal is not Christ. I think it is one of the two witnesses from Revelation. The timing is the reason why and the way that the Dajjaal is killed by the false prophet. I don't know why the second witness isn't documented in Islamic Eschatology but the dajjaal has the staff of Moses and the ring of Solomon the latter of which allegedly has power over evil spirits. ( occult literature has this information it's sort of an urban legend that ran it's course in the 17th century) But the staff of Moses fits in with the stories about the witnesses in Revelation. The reason I think this is the case is the timing 40 odd months of witnessing with powers to inflict plagues as he did in Egypt. Anyway time will tell and I thought it was an interesting thought maybe worth sharing.
