On a p.s I wanted to say if you're thinking of letting younger people read this there is a decent amount of swearing, to me it was perfectly apt as when the sh#t hits the fan you are going to drop the odd f-bomb, just saying!
(There were some typos, but these could be easily corrected. The content of the series has serious potential for greatness.)
First off I should tell you that this type of book does not usually appeal to me. I like stories that are "realistic" and let's face it gypsies, fairies and nymphs just don't fall into that category.
I read this book because I know the author personally and like another reviewer mentioned, I was apprehensive because I thought, what if it is terrible? That would be awkward. There was nothing to worry about though because I LOVED it! The characters are very likable, especially Willa and the story itself is detailed and intriguing. There are lots of unexpected plot twists that hold the reader's attention.
In summary, I am impressed and can't wait for book two!
