Thank you for your feedback.
They came quickly and I was very happy with the quality, as was my son.
At first I loved the boots because they were comfortable and very water proof.
Other then that they fit as they should and are nice and warm.

I tried the boots on at a Big5 Sporting goods before I decided to buy these online. The treads on the boots in the store where flat, and not like the ones pictured on the internet. I was wanting thses shoes because of the traction they would provide on Ice and snow. I live in one of the few plaes in california that gets snow.. :) it dosnt stick around long but the ice does. I also wanted to be sure to keep my toes and feet warm. As mine seem to get cold pretty eaisly. Well these boots have excellent traction. They hardly slip, and I was trying to purposely. They really bite! They are waterproof-ish, just up too the laces. As long as your not crossing a river or deep puddles, you will be good and dry. They are warmer then my average hiking boots, I still get a little cold, but they do pretty good with thicker socks. I ordered a size 13, and they are a little too roomy for my foot. If I were to order them again, I would try a size smaller. I kept them regardless and will just plan on using thicker socks. lastly, the only reason I didnt give it a 5 star, was because I was not satisify with how they lace up. The way they have configured their loops and lace grabs are a little owkard for me, and they dont seem to grab as well. But they still work for the boot.

These are the most comfortable waterproof boots. They require no break in period. Extremely happy with them.

Got boots 2 weeks ago......no soft insoles!!!....whatever????. A 15 dollar pair of dr. Scholls later things are going great. Not exactly waterproof but okay. Then yesterday an eyelets ripped out while I was tying laces. $$$$$ wasted, find another brand. Thank you.

I have worn these boots for 2 weeks and they are falling apart! The leather upper is coming apart from the rubber bottom, the sole is falling off, and there is also cracking in the rubber bottoms. I have never had boots this bad in my entire life!!! Please do not waste your money!!

I bought these boots end of November for my husband and he has just recently started using them in the snow here in Minn. He has only used them a handful of times and they are now coming apart between the leather and the rubber. Also the rubber is splitting from the leather to the rubber vertically. We already kind of tried to ignore the other fact that they tend to have a traction that holds the snow causing it to be slippery when coming inside to our hardwood floors. Also that we had to waterproof them to keep them better isulated from wetness. They are SNOW BOOTS right?. aren't they suppose to be able to go into the snow?. The sealent we purchased from a local shoe and boot store works wonders however we are very displeased at the fact that BRAND NEW boots purchased 3 months ago are already falling apart, not to metion they haven't been worn 3 solid months and he only wears them to go out in the snow and for nothing else like doing oudoor work and the such. I would definitely not reccommend these boots to anyone. Save your money and find another type.

I bought these boots in the middle of December, and found them to be very well suited to what I needed them for (working as a cart attendant in western Michigan). Unfortunately, over the last month and a half, they have developed a number of problems of varying severity have ensued (listed in chronological order):

    1) The insoles that were included in the boot wore out within a week of their arrival. Not a big deal, but it did make the boots rather uncomfortable until I could replace them.
    2) One of the eyelets yanked out of the leather. This didn't impede my ability to wear them any.
    3) One of the laces broke, which was of course easily replaced.
    4) Holes began to develop in the sole. It is at the point now where they need to replaced soon.

Now, I walk pigeon toed and I am particularly hard on shoes, but 1.5 months seems to be a very short life span. I've gotten a longer lifetime out of my cheap wal-mart tennis shoes.

The boots are fine if you want to use them once a month and then throw them out after a year. These boots have lots of complaints about them from various people for their shoddy quality. The best thing is trying to contact the manufacturer is one of the biggest pains I have ever had. I would steer clear of these boots unless you need a throw away pair.
