Season 1 was the best - it actually required the viewer to do some thinking. Season 3 is excessively grisly and there is always someone being murdered. I fast-forwarded through large portions of Season 3.

Each and every episode of this show is terrific. The ensemble is perfectly matched. Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope is a standout star of this show, but each character's story was carefully crafted to feed the plot and keep us coming back! I know I'll keep watching and I hope the creative staff can keep the show as interesting as it is now when it gets to season 5.

I will continue watching the series, but it is getting a little too unrealistic. One group of people cannot have this many interactions of this magnitude!

I loved Scandal seasons 1 and 2, but this season got to be a little much for me, if you know what I mean. I also feel like Olivia's relationship with the president is starting to get old!

I really liked seasons 1 and 2. This season is over the top in so many ways, especially in violence - the torture is horrible. Not entertaining to me.

The first season was great. They actually seemed like white hat wearing gladiators more so but season 3 they ditched the formula that made the show good, went way off the deep end with spy crap, Olivia and her team flip flop from one side to the next at the writer's whim and things just started not to make sense for any other reason than the writers wrote them that way. It just isn't the same quality as season 1, or even season 2.

Scandal is such a blast! Love it. I binged-watched three seasons. Now I am going back to re-watch from the beginning while waiting for the next season to start. Because of the fast pace (and fast talking) I missed some things the first time around (subtitles are helpful). On second viewing, it is amazing to see how brilliantly the plot lines and themes are interwoven-- as in good mystery writing (O.K. soap opera) the significance of things, or the clues, are more clearly seen in retrospect. Unpredictable, brilliant show. The actors are all good, work well as an ensemble.

I love scandal. It is the best show on television. The show never disappoints. Shonda Rimes has done it again.
