About the Author
Karen Gillman’s ‘It’s Never Too Late’ was written to share with readers her battle with obesity and how she ultimately combatted it with weight loss surgery. Karen considers her greatest life-purposes as being a wife, a mother of two and a homemaker. She also works full time as an executive at On Point Executive Center, Inc., and is co-founder of Charity Chics, a women’s based networking company that supports local charities. Karen also finds great joy in being an advocate for adoption, an ambassador for Working Women of Tampa Bay, and as a host of various monthly events serving entrepreneurs. She is a member of the Obesity Action Coalition, BariatricPal, Lap Band Divas, Lapband Support, Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America and Banded Living. Karen is well recognized for a long list of business awards in the Central Florida Tampa Bay Area and serves her community with passion and purpose. www.karengillman.com www.facebook.com/aftertheband www.twitter.com/aftertheband #lapband #wls #weightlosssurgery #obesity #obesitynomore #karengillman
