This is a unique and unforgettable story of a woman who travels the US to seek meaning in her life after suffering a terrible loss. As I read this book, I felt as though I was on that journey with Linea, meeting each new place with curiousity and openess. The characters she meets are real-life people we have all met somewhere, and they all give Linea some of their wisdom to help her heal.
I would recommend this book for anyone who appreciates well-drawn characters, and who wants to celebrate the human qualities of self-knowledge, hope, love, and forgiveness.

A wonderfully written story of a woman's journey in life. A very poigiant story about Linea, a woman from Brazil who has suffered a terrible tragedy. She leaves her homeland and settles in Massachusetts and rediscovers herself during a month long trip across her adopted country. Each experience helps her realize how she must change her life and finally accept her challenges. I highly recommend this delightful story. Well done for a first novel by my college friend, Robert Lovinger. Looking forward to his next work!
