Anyway, I love the way they look, fit and the comfort, I would just really like to have a pair that is not tearing.
They fit well and true to side but just rub me the wrong way.
Best of all, I loved being able to jump right into the lake with these shoes and have them dry super quickly after.

I am on my second pair of this J-41 style of shoe. I liked the sporty yet trendy look of the shoe as well as the color choices that were offered. It is a great shoe for all seasons - the mesh top allows a breeze in the hot summer and with a pair of socks the shoe is warm in cool weather.

The only drawback is the durability of the mesh on the top of the shoe. Both pairs have been ruined for anything buy very casual wear by holes. I found it fairly easy for the mesh to get snagged and ripped. As long as the buyer is careful about how/when these are worn they are great shoes.

One of two pairs of shoes I took on a three week trip to Italy in Nov 2012. Two weeks before I left for my trip I broke the little toe on my foot. I didn't have any close toe shoes I could put on and besides a pair of crocs these J-41s were the only thong that I could fit into without pain. (Other pair of shoes I took were thing type sandals)

The shoes were light and comfortable and I walked all over Rome, Florence and Tuscan Hill towns in these shoes. These shoes worked out really well. They looked good, felt comfortable and with socks were warm. I am still wearing them and they seem to be holding up fine.

I saw these shoes and thought to myself, these are perfect for almost anything! I was right! I have taken my pair from Emory Peak to spelunking in south Texas. I did a couple of free climbs in them and even wore them running! My feet felt great. Getting them wet is no problem, they dry in a very short period of time. It rained during a two day hike, and I was a bit concerned after reading that the traction isn't great on wet surfaces, but I had no issues. About mile 40, I developed a blister in the bottom of my foot, but I just replaced the insoles and they did fine. I found that the mesh was very durable, even in harsh desert conditions with lots of cacti. I did end up with a needle in the side of my foot at one point, however, I chalk that up to "user error" :) I'm already excited to buy another pair and plan on taking these with me on many, many more hikes to come!

Some of the most comfortable shoes I have, so I bought Two more pair in diff colors. Love the memory foam in the inside. Unexpected arch support without putting extra orthotics in

I tried a pair of women's J-41 in size 8. Yes they are very light in weight, comfortable and fit to your size, but I find the shoes very slippery on smooth surfaces, such as tiles they have in Malls, the sole does not hold you in place, you can slip and fall very easy wearing this shoe, so I find this a safety hazard and not a good shoe to wear around wet places. They are good around the house, but not much good for outdoor activity.

Will be returning these shoes. If the floor (tile/painted/epoxy/wood) is the slightest bit wet... WATCH OUT! These shoes have NO traction.

This shoe was returned because it didn't fit my feet well, no real arch support and it was too narrow but.. more importantly it was returned because I have anaphylaxis to latex and the shoe is made from natural rubber aka latex. Not sure if that fact was included in the description because I bought them using my iPhone and it was difficult to read the small print.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I decided to take a big risk and wear them on a 5 day intense backpacking trip in the mountains. I was tired of being weighed down by heavy boots and ending up with wet feet and socks. These shoes were great! We hiked about 10 miles a day up a steep mountain with rugged terrain and lots of rocks and my feet were COMPLETELY comfortable. I absolutely LOVE the arch support in the shoe, the insole is quite nice and can be removed easily to be washed. The traction on the jeep engineered sole grips surprisingly well, I did not feel like I needed any more grip. My brother was hiking with Columbia high Top boots and I think He was slipping and tripping more than I was! Best of all, I loved being able to jump right into the lake with these shoes and have them dry super quickly after. The shoes are also very breathable. These shoes are fantastic and the price is great! I do not understand how/why other people may have critical reviews of them, but I absolutely LOVE them.
