I have realized that what matters the most, is the decision to enjoy the joy everyday. It all starts with a mindset that believes joy is possible. Then what matters are the practical details of how to enjoy one's life and how to make it enjoyable for others. For me the essential ingredients of joy are loving, dreaming and believing, as well as writing, reading and sleeping. I love to laugh until I cry and change other people's crying into laughter. I'm very sensitive and love to use all my senses:
Feeling: Nothing feels better than the warm body of a loved one.
Smelling: I thrive on the smell of orange blossoms and lilacs.
Tasting: Fresh herbs in a meal prepared with love make me feel alive.
Seeing: Witnessing good will and excellent manners warms my heart.
Hearing: I love to speak and hear different languages because each language has its own character. For example, when I speak French, I feel very feminine, Italian makes me feel joyful, and Spanish increases my playfulness, Finnish makes me deep.
Intuiting: Sensing the purity of a heart opens me up.

I loved books from very early age. My mother used to read me a lot until I learnt to read myself. Then during my spare time I was most likely either dancing or reading. My writing career started with diaries. I wrote piles and piles of diaries. I guess I had a lot to say but I felt more comfortable saying it on page than out loud. Maybe I just loved my hand dancing on the paper, pencil as the dance partner.
Then my writing career became more promising as I became involved in the school newspaper. That was followed by an internship in a Media House. Then I started submitting pieces to the Finland's UNIFEM. At the university I wrote of course many papers on several topics including diplomacy, conflict prevention and peace. My first work after graduating from the University was the position of a Press and PR Officer. Then I became a freelance writer and started to write on spirituality and dreams.
My first novel "Apsara's Dance" was published in 2012. Next in line was my first self-help book "Lighten Up To Be Enlightened!" that came out in August 2015. I am also writing a short story collection on love.
I have always been fascinated by love stories and I have always wondered why so few people seem to live them true in their daily lives. That made me question whether those stories were somehow unreal. I have come to the conclusion that they can be real if you want to see your love story through the eyes of a hopeless romantic. It is not so much about the actual events but about the mind and heart of the interpreter.
I also continue to write book reviews and articles in Finnish concentrating on living a brilliant life.
