Just received this product in the mail today (4/28/2015). The box didn't have any sign of damages and this product was placed in a tape sealed bubble wrap bag so I don't think any of the parts escaped.. Surprisingly enough about half of the bits advertised as being included in this product were missing and some of the bits present did not match the few slots that were present. The first picture is of the advertised product, the second picture is of the product I received after sorting the jumbled bits with the third picture depicting the bits that did not match the slots that were provided... 0/10 would not repeat

I bought this set to repair a Droid phone. The tool is magnetic so it held the the tiny screws securely. The screw driver handle itself rotates at the top, enabling you to put some downward pressure while starting them pesky little screws much easier. I have failing eyesight to go along with my age so the case the tool comes in is well laid out, with each individual piece nicely marked along with the spot in the case marked. That way you can be sure to put each piece back in its corresponding spot in the case. The extension was nice for getting into the deeper locations. I repaired my safety glasses with this tool set using the extension to get past the non removable side shield. Surprisingly well made. I figured it to be a throw away set when I bought it originally, but this is definitely not a use once throw away set of tools. They are very well made with a very convenient storage case that has a spring loaded latch in front. When you close the lid the individual screw driver tips fold down so that they stay secure in their individual slots. After all what use is it, if you lose the individual screw driver tips. I would recommend this set to anyone.

Another guy at work bought this set. My immediate thought was that it was probably just like every other chintsy screwdriver and bit set. I was very surprised upon opening the case and feeling the quality of the plastic case and the bit storage mechanism. Similarly, the screwdriver and bit set has worked very well so far. The bits fit securely to the screwdriver with a strong magnet and tight socket holding them in place. In a couple months use, I've yet to bend or break any of the bits, though if I did I would have no qualms with buying a new set given the affordable cost.

I would buy this again, and may do so for gifts.

I used it to fix a Kodak EasyShare Sport 123 camera with a jammed battery door. The tweezers was especially helpful when installing the teeny-tiny screws that had to be removed from tight places. Bits included for tamper-proof Torx screws (the ones with the little pin in the middle.

To earn five stars:
1. The fit of the driver bits would have to be very consistent and smooth. Some fit easily and some fit tightly. All fit well enough for successful use.
2. The case's slots for the tweezers and driver extension need to be cut so they fit perfectly into the proper positions.

Be careful when putting the driver extension and the tweezers back into the case. Leave enough room for the case to open and close. If they are placed too close to the hinge end, they prevent the lid of the case from opening fully.

The clear plastic cover is attached to the bit holders, so when you open it, all the bits stand upright making them easier grab. But keep in mind that the IS made of a cheap plastic. It hasn't broke on my yet, but it feels like it could if I'm not careful.

The screwdriver, extension, and tweezers are all held in by a series of plastic dividers which made a great place for holding and organizing the various screws from my cell phone while I had the phone dismantled.

The screwdriver is magnetic, but the swivel where your palm rests is not terribly smooth. Its not hard to turn, I just felt like it was making like not as easy as it should sometimes.

My only real complaint is the precision of bits. I bought this to replace the LCD on my old Droid X as a fun project. Everywhere I read about the procedure said I needed T3 and T5 bits. Neither fit the screws they should have. Instead I had to use the T4 and T6 bits (which are in the kit), these fit nicely. I'm not sure if that's a manufacturing error or if the bits are mislabeled. Your milage may vary though.

Overall I'm pretty happy, but if you want something pretty nice, I would try something else.

Really nice quality for the price. The extension rod does not fit neatly into the case. The case was designed for something with a different shape, so that part is loose in there. Also, a rectangular sticker on the oval space on the top looks odd and shabby.

The case, however, is really well-designed, and I don't think it will break or be tossed. I love the elegant push-button opening!

That said, it all works beautifully, and that the tips are magnetic really, really makes small work easier.

I got these for disembling non-working watches and clocks to make "steampunk" style jewelry. I think I will probably be using them for many other things, now that I see them. I am so glad I chose this set. Solid quality!
