I got this for coins. It's time to review the family coin collection and I was in the middle of Mercury dimes and getting frustrated because my eyes aren't what they used to be and I had a lame magnifying glass with no light. I love this new thing! I've already found 4 double dies that I missed before! If you want one for coins then this is the bomb!

For many years I've worked with jewelry, lapidary, and other items that require the ability to see the item up close to evaluate and assess it.
When I received my JARLINK 2 Pack Jewelry Loupes package I was happy but when I try both of them out on many items that my old loupes didn't work with I was EXCITED.
Both loupes have their advantages in that the slide-out magnifying loupe is comfortable to hold and has led lights and black light for viewing some minerals that I inspect. For me, it's an "All-in-One Tool. The Jarlink led double-multiple jewelry type is spot on when needing to view objects that require different angles or tight areas. I do think the led lights are too bright, but that's primarily when viewing jewelry or other shiny surfaces.
The price and shipping was exceptional.

Great Loupes at this price point - the only suggestion that I can think of to improve these is that it would be better for the environment if they came with built-in rechargeable batteries.

They’re great gifts for kids, especially the little scientist type. I got them for looking at gems, minerals and fungal specimens, but the potential applications are innumerable. No glove compartment should be without one!

Nice LEDs built in and light is fairly bright. The 30x is usable but the smaller (higher X) lens are a bit small and with my old eyes not very usable. Built fairly well and overall pleased with value vs cost.

These are just cheap Chinese junk. They broke the first time I opened the battery compartments to see how you change the batteries. The lights wouldn’t work after that. These are so cheaply made they shouldn’t be sold at any price.
