I have very fair skin and I burn very easily. After using a store brand for years, I decided to switch because I was still getting burned. This smells like summer at the beach and I love it. My skin doesn't burn (unless I don't reapply and I'm in the sun for long periods of time.) I love the scent and love the fact that it's not full of chemicals. Highly recommend.

Excellent! This has a great, creamy feel that rubbed in easily and did not leave a white sheen. We used it for a visit to Costa Rica and didn't burn a bit (although it was cloudy). It has a fairly strong tropical scent which was noticeable even to friends when they stood close, but it is not an unpleasant scent. I love that my kids can easily apply it and I'm not exposing them to all the nasty stuff in commercial sunscreens. I'll be purchasing this again!

Edited to add our latest results: We spent a week on the Florida panhandle. The first two days, I used this sunscreen with just a nice tan building after several hours on the beach each day. On day three, I ran out. I had just enough for my face, and then I used a commercial, chemical-laden brand we picked up at the local souvenir shop on the rest of my body. Despite reapplying sunscreen 3 times in a couple hours, I was fried to a crisp on my chest, back and shoulders. My face was unburned. Thanks to Amazon Prime, I got another tube of this delivered to our vacation home during our trip, and we've had no additional burns! This stuff is great.

We tested several products for our young kids and found this product works the best. The lotion is smooth and quick absorbing. It takes a bubble shape that adheres on the end of the tube (or as a smooth beaded line when directly applied on the body), and it's not goopy, runny, oily, or too thick - and certainly not gritty. We can easily apply the cream to the face of our impatient and very fidgety kids, and the cream is quickly rubbed in. With other products, I had issues with lotion being too thick or smeary (easily getting too close to my fidgety kids eyes and in the hair). Some other products also did not adsorb as quickly or they left an unpleasant feeling on the skin. The product also has a subtle non-coconut fragrance. The fragrance isn't strongly noticeable, and I didn't think much about it, until receiving a positive "wow what is that" comments from others.

This is not a ‘natural’ product in the least. After checking the information on the tube I wondered how I could have been so deceived, this is how:
There are 26 ingredients listed on the Amazon website - there are 32 on the tube.
The tube’s 32 ingredients are headed under ‘Inactive Ingredients’, so where, I wondered are the ‘Active’ ingredients? They were hidden under a sticker which gave the Directions in Spanish (I think).
Here are the Active Ingredients as listed on the tube: Avobenzone 3%; Octyl Salicylate 5%; Homosalate 10% and Octocrylene 10%.

Now we know!

My excuse is my eyes were at the bleeding stage from having trawled through endless so-called natural sunscreens, that I finally just accepted this one without checking out the lowest rated reviews, which is my norm. I hope this provides some help to others, needless to say, after looking at the reviews now, I shan’t be putting this stuff anywhere near my face.

Ethically unsound. False advertising. Not natural at all. Claims to be reef friendly and yet since doing my research I discovered that literally all of the ‘active’ ingredients are the most harmful to the reefs! Will not buy again or recommend. Sticker also used on a previous pack to cover these harmful ingredients!

I cannot explain how bad this product is to protect you from the sun. I am currently on holiday and have chosen a reef friendly and toxic free cream for me and you family thinking I was doing a good thing, I lathered my kids in this and was well aware I would need to reapply more frequently as I was in a hot place and it wasn’t an all day cream however I am so sad and frustrated to sit here at the end of our first day on holiday and my 3 boys under 9 are burnt - hurting and now leaving me with the issue of how to keep them out of the sun on a sunny holidays. This should it happen with factor. 45z I too am more burnt than I have been in my 40 years of being careful in the sun. You can probably sense how cross I am- but you can safely times by 10 as I am fuming - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Tried this in the recent sunny weather we had. Applied to the places my son's clothes didn't cover (9m old). Went on easily. Not streaky at all. No reactions despite my son having patches of eczema. Worked well. No burning or tanning at all. Didnt test at midday so not sure what it would be like for very sunny holidays but I'm sure if you reapply regularly will be perfect. Will be ordering more for all our family for our holiday next year! Definatley recommend.

Very disappointed in this product. I had read great reviews which prompted me to purchase the cream for my recent holiday. I applied it three times in the space of under three hours and still ended up very burnt. This should not happen with a factor 45. Beware!!
