A Great Light, the Only Thing Missing is a USB Jack to Run via Computer or A/C Adaptor...

...I Use Mine, the Warm Light Version, under the Kitchen Cabinet that Hangs over the Sink.
I like the fact that it stays on indefinitely, especially when Washing Dishes.

However, I found that I was replacing the Batteries, the Amazon Basic Rechargeable (Eneloops),
at least once a week.

So being the Do-It-Yourselfer that I am,
I elected to Void the Warrantee and Intrude Upon the Innards of the Device.

You'll find that it is relatively easy to do, if You Too have the DIY Gene.

The Bottom Line: It Works Great & has Been Running for 2 Weeks with No Problem What-So-Ever.

Without going into great detail, I'll say just this:
Both ends are retained with a Special Screw Slot that is Triangular in Shape,
which can be Twisted Off with a Little Ingenuity.

The Positive Top has a White Wire attached to the Battery Terminal which can be
Pulled or Cut Off.
The Circuit Board with LEDs mounted, just Slides Out and New Wires can easily be attached to the Board.

I used an Old USB Extension Cord that I Cut & Stripped & Soldered to the Board.

Reassembled the Parts and Connected the USB end to an A/C Adaptor that
Plugged into a Nearby Outlet (Lucky Me).

If You've Followed Me so far, then You should have no Problem achieving the Objective.

If Not, then Pray for a New Version of this Excellent Passive_Infra_Red Device.

Update: Replacement malfunctions like first one did. When I reviewed this, the company was quick to respond, offering a choice of refund or replacement. I chose replacement. They did not require me to send back the first one but unfortunately, the second performed exactly like the first, cutting off every few seconds. Annoying enough that I haven't replaced the batteries to continue using it. I used it under a kitchen cabinet. It came on daytime and night. Only other light in room was on the fridge ice/water dispenser. But I think if it's dark enough to come on, it should stay on for a few minutes. Otherwise, a decent product for the price and good company. I hope they make improvements!

These were kind of neat. I really needed light at one counter where I seemed to do a lot of food preparation and these were perfect - for a few minutes. They come with a magnetic strip that is sticky on the back. You remove the protective strip and stick the magnetic strip to the bottom of the cabinet, then the light will be attracted to the magnet and you can remove the light to replace the batteries easily. It's a wonderful idea, and like many of mine, doesn't work. I removed the strip, stuck the magnetic strip to the bottom of the cabinet, put up the light, and every time I walked up to that counter there was light! It was wonderful! I started to make a sandwich, I was about half way done when one light fell down, crashing to the counter, making me jump and leaving me in the dark, before I could react, the second fell down and hit me on the head on it's way. I checked and they were still attached to the magnetic strip, which hadn't adhered to the bottom of the cabinet well. I tried and tried to get them to stick until the adhesiveness was gone, so I bought some more magnetic strip, it wouldn't adhere either, so I tried tacking it up l with thumb tacks, the magnetic strip is still there, but the lights won't stay up. They will hold on to the strips anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours then they fall down, sometimes bouncing off the counter and crashing to the floor. I finally put the lights in a drawer, the strip is still there.

After researching dozens of these small battery-operated LEDs, we settled on this one for its unique features and warm-hued light. We're very glad we did. It's a terrific little light that works better than expected. I installed it in an outdoor cabinet by a grill. The light and motion sensors mean we never have to bother with a switch, nor worry about wasting unnecessary power.

PROS:
- light and motion sensors work great
- 15-second auto shutoff if here's no more motion saves battery life
- easy to install, and very easy to remove in order to change batteries, because of the magnetic strip (though we haven't had to change batteries yet)
- warm hue of the LED light is pleasing (which too few LEDs are)
- convenient compact size, yet good light output for the size

CON:
- the battery compartment door is thin and a bit weak, so you need to be very gentle with it

Beautiful lights.....but don't work as described. I needed this as an under counter light. Something the description suggests it should be used for. However, I quickly found that this light only works in pitch blackness. Meaning, if you have another light on it will not work as described, or at all. There is nothing in the description that tells you this. So unless you need a long, cumbersome night light that will work only in pitch dark, skip this light. Not useful for under counter or additional light.

this is a perfect solution for some lift-up doors on some cabinets

For my purposes, this is a perfect solution. We have lift-up doors on some overhead kitchen cabinets, and the doors blocked all the ceiling lights from illuminating the interiors - and finding the spices therein. These LED strips stuck easily onto the inside surface of the doors, and turn on when we lift the doors and turn off seconds after closing. Perfect. No need to figure out how to install interior lights or switches.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I'm not sure it would satisfy bigger needs like a closet - given its limited power. And it's motion sensitivity seemed sluggish, though it's fine for the movement in our application.
