WARNING: The listing does not mention this, but these knobs are not OEM replacements for the Jenn-Air. Although the manufacturer is named "Exact Replacement Parts," the knobs have different labeling than the originals. There's no label for the Lite setting and the Off label is upside down.

Other than that, they appear to be just as crappy as the Jenn-Air originals.

The problem with these and the originals is that the interior post that connects to the burner control is made of plastic and it snaps under a small amount of twisting pressure. I found much better versions with zinc die cast posts produced by a seller on ebay.

I've bought more than a couple already and they kept breaking after a few months of usage. It's not hard to make quality product. The manufacturer simple takes the short cut and rips off consumer by producing a knob that breaks too often. I have no choice but to keep buying new ones!!

Cheapest on the market, but still built to break. I reinforced around the rear of the knob with two part hardening putty. Hopefully it will hold the crappy plastic shaft portion of the knob from breaking. So far, so good.

The knobs fit perfectly on our Jenn-aire gas cooktop. The code on the knobs is "KIP 5D01". It sits down on the posts just right. Knobs are labelled with "Off" and then "Hi" and Lo" with a line between them on the arc. Our previous knobs had melted due to a hot pan being too close to them. It is not the fault of the knob supplier that they melt. It is due to poor design of cooktop by Jenn-aire in the first place.

I bought a set of these to replace the original knobs on my JennAir cooktop. The original knobs had lasted about 4 years.
These lasted less than 4 months with only moderate use.

They look very nice, maybe if you need to replace your knobs to sell your house this is a good option, otherwise they are junk.
These fail when the plastic collar holding the metal insert cracks even with normal use.

I didn't really know how to rate this product because I have mixed feelings. This is exactly the knob that I needed to replace the broken knobs on my Jenn-Air stovetop. They arrived in good time and they matched the originals so I am happy about that. However, I can't give this five stars because the quality of the knobs on a Jenn-Air stovetop is terrible. I can't say these are terrible because I just got them, but the originals were very cheap plastic that broke too soon for such a quality appliance. Then the replacement knobs we got (that are way too expensive for a piece of plastic) broke within a year or two. So this is the third set of knobs on a 2008 appliance and they do not get abused- its just cheap plastic.

Cheap exact replacement for my Cook top. Why Jenn Air would have designed such a cheap knob is beyond me. If a hot pot is against these they will melt. I replaced the originals with these and they are the same. Happy I found them on Amazon for such a great price.

These are a direct replacement for my cook top. They just dropped right in. My rub is with the construction. Plastic with a foil covering, no wonder they melt. At this price, I would have liked metal. I searched the net and could not find any metal ones. Soooooooo, I guess the word of the day is beware of hot frying pans.
