I was looking for a dressing that tastes like the dressing you get on the salads from a Japanese Steakhouse. This is ok as a regular dressing but wasnt what I was looking for, I have used it as a marinade and it works great for that!

Its a little too vinegary for me- The Japanese restraunts where I live have more of a creamy mild sauce I actually never tasted vinegar in the ones that Ive tried. Really didnt like the taste of it but still ate it so 3 stars.

I love a good Ginger Dressing especially one from local Hibachi Grills. This one the other hand was just awful, and I try to say that as nice as possible. Its has a really rich almost off putting smell about it. The flavor taste almost like dark roasted peanuts that's been blended into a thick-ish (yes its kind of thick) liquid that's spoiled. Ive tried to eat it on multiple occasions seeing how I spend almost $14 on it but I cant seem to get through it. My advise, usually Hibachi restaurants sell there dressing by the pint/gallon. Find one you like and get some there :)

I use ginger dressing in a recipe I made up trying to copy cat shoguns famous house dressing, and I usually use a honey ginger, but I couldn't find one, so I went with this. Now mind you I don't like ginger dressing plain, so I make it a creamy dressing with milk, mayo, lemon juice, sugar, and ginger dressing to create the taste I'm looking for. It was exactly what I was looking for, for what I needed.
