At one point, the perfect storm seems to be in the offing, with Leonid at the isolated military base, Drago planning his attack, and Jet coming from another approach...and there's the assassin pair waiting in the wings...
Blake kept this one going at full speed, just like the other Jet books. (Hmmm, maybe that's why her name is 'Jet.') When I think of Hannah being only 2 1/2 years old, an awful lot has happened in her short life! To my surprise, Blake had me rooting for a drug kingpin. And while it does close out most of the open situations, one is left hanging, so I presume there will be another Jet book in the offing.
As always, very fast-paced, over the top nonstop action. One very delightful twist, of course, is Alejandro. An honorable gangster, ALEJANDRO! I have a crush on Alejandro! with the exclamation point. And yes, I’m one of those who get crushes on fictional characters why do you ask. I dearly hope Jet gives him a call for help in a future installment so that I get to see him again.
Jet. She has managed to get caught up in a war between rival gangs She finally joins for ces with the Sotos. The rival gang called the Verdugos are wanting to kill the Sotos. Jet winds up in gun fights all over Chile. It finally comes to a head. A very good conclusion.
