My company's campus has has a lot of different mobile workspaces and I wanted a mechanical keyboard that was high quality and could easily fit in my backpack as I moved from space to space. This fits the bill perfectly. It is very high quality and I haven't even touched the programming layers.

This thing is SOLID. The aluminum base keeps the flex to an absolute minimum and it types like a dream. I was a little hesitant to use the mx clear caps as they have a higher weight than browns which is what i was used to and didn't want to have hand fatigue. I've gotten used to the high weight and don't bottom out nearly as much as before. The clear caps are now going to be my goto.

I like having a detachable cable so i can easily move it from desk to desk and not have it get bent or frayed in my bag.

I do wish I ordered the PBT caps as I don't really use the backlighting but that is something I realized before ordering and can't fault the keyboard for that. I found some old Cherry german keycaps that I'll be replacing these with once I am confident I don't need the legends.

Very nice keyboard. Box came with keyboard and cable only. Manual can be found on Vortex's website. Small and hefty with rubber feet, so it doesn't move very easily while typing. Function (Fn) layer is very interesting and takes a little bit of getting used to, especially after switching from a full-sized keyboard. I recommend a 6 to 10 ft mini USB cable. The EZOPower 10 ft braided cable looks great with the white LED (just peel that ugly red sticker off the end).

The box says PBT keycaps were included, but these are definitely ABS. They are very smooth and light, very satisfying. They have a very hollow sound to them. I would have preferred PBT, but the White LED version only comes with ABS from every retailer I've seen.

One thing I've noticed about this keyboard is that it has a slight "ping" to it after a key press. It could be just the Cherry MX Clear keys, but I'm not sure. I've come to love the sound, other people seem to find it annoying.

I love the Pok3r. I've owned a Filco TKL Ninja with Cherry MX Brown switches, a CoolerMaster Novatouch TKL with Topre switches, and a Code Keyboard TKL with Cherry MX Browns. I got the Pok3r with the Cherry MX Clear switches. This is definitely the quietest keyboard I've used. The Clears hardly ever bottom out, which helps with keeping the keyboard quiet. Also, the keycaps sit up above the aluminum plate instead of inside the case like the Filco. Not only does this looks super cool, but I think it helps reduce the resonance inside the case. The aluminum case (vs plastic) also helps reduce vibration. In comparison the Filco with Browns seem as loud as Blues in comparison.

I actually wanted the white one. After reading all the negative reviews about the buyers receiving the white one, I was crossing my fingers to get the white one. Sadly, I received the black one as described :(

Overall, awesome and solid keyboard. The aluminum case give its a nice hefty and rigid feeling. The white LEDs are really bright. I'm not a fan of the ABS keycaps, but I already replaced them with blank PBTs. I'm already used to the layout and mastered the functions for the arrows, insert, end, etc. I recommend flipping the #3 dipswitch to turn your caps lock to the function key.

One of, if not the best keyboard I have ever used. I'm coming from a Code 87 keyboard, also with mx clears, so I'm familiar with the feedback they provide. The Pok3r has a superior feel, and I became almost immediately used to it when typing. I received the black model, as expected. Not sure why people were stating that they received the white one, but it looks like they cleared up that mistake.
