So I bought these to try to fix a problem in the 122.975 MHZ range caused by an inexpensive light bar i bought. I installed one and it did very little if anything to help the problem, then i installed a few more and it seemed to almost make the noise worse. So what i have since learned is that certain ferrites work for certain frequencies. Now when i read the questions about what mix they are, it makes sense why people are asking that. The seller doesn't say what frequency they are for. So i found the info i needed from Palomar Engineers that i need mix 31 or mix 43 for this frequency. I would hope this seller would learn what mix they are and then we won't have to return items. I don't like to buy stuff i have to return.

I had been using a dongle for my 2011 MacBook pro to connect to an Apple LED Cinema Display, and I had to wrap the cord of the dongle in foil so that it would not interrupt my wifi connection for the past few months. I was so glad to tear that foil off today and replace it with the ferrite. The results are instant. No more issues with the wifi connection when connecting to the monitor and it is so much more pleasing to the eye than foil!

I received all 20 pcs, 4 each of the 3 larger sizes, and 8 pcs of the smallest size. They weigh more than I expected which speaks to their quality. They are also super easy to clip on. Very happy with this purchase :)

of the ones in this pk that weren't broken or already snapped shut they did absolutely nothing to curb line noise or reduce line reverb will not buy again don't know if i got unlucky with a sub-par lot or just garbage in general want a refund out of 20 pcs only 6 were usable others either broken and in pieces or snapped shut mailed in an envelope which by no means protected then had they been properly packaged

They fixed my flicking monitor issue!

I have a portable 10" LCD monitor and it would have issues with flickering. I've swapped out power cables, USB adapters, HDMI cables and adapters, everything I could think of it and it would still randomly blank out. Sometimes once a day, other times every few seconds! I figured it was some kind of interference so I bought these and put them on both the power and HDMI cables and on both ends at the monitor and at the USB-C to HDMI adapter. It seems to have fixed the issue because now the flicking is very rare, maybe once or twice a month. I was really skeptical that these things would actually do anything but I really do think they are helping!

Gets the job done at a good value

My Ender 3 V2 display began making noises and jumping around the menus after I installed LED lighting in its enclosure. A little research indicated that many people had seen similar behavior with all sorts of RF noise sources across the entire Ender line. I initially added these ferrite beads to the outputs of the LED ballast; however, that was insufficient to eliminate the issue. Adding them to the inputs and the outputs was successful. It's possible the actual noise source here is the AC/DC transformer rather than the LED ballast, but I'm not going to mess with success at this point - especially not for how little these cost. I've since added them to both ends of the LCD cable and am considering adding them to the stepper motor cables since those are known to produce RF noise that interferes with the thermistor.
I will keep this product on hand all the time now.

A nice assortment of sizes for cheap. No mention of the ferrite mix, so if you have a specific problem and you know what you need, you'd be better off getting something known instead. If you just want to clip these on everything to slug a little VHF noise off, these are probably a fine set. I would take a wild guess that these are Mix 43, from no other evidence than it seems to be common for cheapies like these. Wrap the wire or cable through twice (or however many times fit) for better performance, whatever the composition. Clips aren't super tight and can occasionally pop open if the cable or housing is torqued hard, but they are plenty secure.
